Nah Britain was the aggressor. Poland was warned before invaded. Poland had Germans captive and was torturing them. Germany could not do nothing. Poland was warned. Both Germany and Russia invaded Poland at the same time, but only Germany was declared war on.

Jokes aside. The Treaty of Versailles was more or less the reason for WW2. They punished Germany way to hard. Many people even say the plan was to destroy the country completely through the treaty of versailles. Taking away Germany’s military (from 4 mio to only 100 thousand) was a big humiliation for them. The country had one of the most advanced military and it was definitely one of the biggest prides of the nation. Another problem was that in the territories that got taken away from them there lived many ethnic Germans who didn’t want to belong to the neighboring countries. Also Germany could’ve never payed the allies with the money they demanded from Germany. The country itself was in a huge economic crises. It was only a matter of time before another war would break out.
It was also not fair that Germany had to accept all the war guilt for a war they didn’t even start in the first place.
Yeah it was a harsh treaty but let us not forget that the Germans gave the Russians an even harsher treaty. Germany wasn’t innocent at all and there are tons of things we could point out. I really only feel bad for the civilian population not the government or military leadership.

Why is the German Empire begging Italy not to leave? It should be the flag of Austria-Hungary. Otherwise this metaphor doesn't make sense..
Italy was originally allied with Germany and Austria, but when the war broke out they proclaimed neutrality then eventually joined the allies. Thus Germany begging Italy not to leave.
@@kingjohnny9548 Yeah, but the first part of the meme is clearly supposed to play in WW1 (hence the German flag and the Treaty of Versailles). Italy was not a major player in WW1 and, while they did change sides and joined the Entente in 1915, that did not really influence the outcome of the war. However what did influence the outcome of the war was that the empire of Austria-Hungary fell apart shortly before WW1 ended, leaving Germany to fight alone in the war that Austria-Hungary technically had started. So the flag should be the one of Austria-Hungary.

@@siegelink9549 First of all - language. Second of all, it is not. Like I said - Italy was not a major player in WW1 and switched sides 3 years before the war ended. I'm not saying the war would have continued for ever, if Austria-Hungary had not collapsed, but it might have gone on longer AND the Entente wouldn't have decided that Germany alone was responsible for World War 1 - which lead to the Treaty of Versailles, which played a huge role in the Nazis' rise to power and their narrative of revenge which they later partially used to justify WW2.
Which is what this meme is all about.

The treaty of Versailles was probably the worst thing ever to happen to Germany. We probably wouldn't have had that nightmare of a leader had it not been for the Treaty of Versailles. The humiliation, the economic harm, the poverty and in general the people's suffering gave rise to mamy opposing political views, that's why right-wing radicalism was so successful. Hitler promised to undo the Treaty and end the people's suffering. Well, we know how it turned out in the end: He only created more suffering...
And adults still trash this show even though it taught us serious parts of history.

@@Epiousios18 I know a lot about ww2 buddy, I stated one wrong thing in the comment but i’m not gonna go over everything that is wrong in it as that would be a long comment, in the beginning it is a reference to Italy leaving the tripartite pact between Austria-Hungary, Germany and Italy when Italy joined the allies in ww1 because Italy wanted back the Trento region among other things. It would be more Accurate if it was Austria-Hungary because it left the war as it dissolved. This is a just a meme, it’s not meant to be taken seriously dude...

Justice said we broke His perfect law - causing the world's previous perfection to be destroyed - and therefore we deserve Hell (like a punishment in any legal system but this is eternal as His perfect law is eternal too). Don't think you fit in that category? Ever done one of these?: lying, stealing - regardless of how small the object EVER, hating others - which is murder in God's perfect law, lusting (plus God sees our entire thought life). Justice says "the soul that sins shall die".
BUT, mercy said "I dont want to give them what they deserve. I don't want them to be cut off from Me. I love them despite all they have done/will do against Me. I want to give My children another chance. I want them to come home and live in My love again".
And love said "Jesus, God's Son, came down as a Man, our representative, suffering every temptation, pain and struggle we have ever faced, yet without sin. He took all our sins (past/present/ even future) to the cross and then crucified EVERY ONE on our behalf. Justice was paid on the cross so that we can be free from Hell's punishment, experience Gods mercy of forgiveness of sin and live in His love. If we turn from the sins we have committed and repent (turn away from our sin and pursue the opposite direction of love through Christ) He will, overtime, recreate us back into that previously perfect image through The Holy Spirit which Jesus sends to all who accept Him as their personal Lord and Savior of their life.
He is in Heaven right now preparing a place for us so that He can take His faithful, believing children home with Him when He returns. He will ressurrect us from death when He returns, giving mercy to those who accept His love, instruction and teachings in their life, and give justice to those who refuse it.
He doesn't want ANY of us to go to Hell and die for continuing in evil and rejecting His way to life, thats why He died FOR us. He wants us to be His and begin to follow His life of love and service through Him (not ourselves as it's impossible without depending on His power and instruction). So long as we keep our hearts near to Christ through His strength, strive to obey His will of perfect love revealed in the Bible, and ask Him to help us in the midst of (very certain) pitfalls and struggles, we will, in time, win the victory over sin, pain and DEATH through Christ. Even if you are willing to be made willing, pray for Jesus to come in and He will.
NOTE: You are NEVER too sinful or messed up that God cannot turn your life around through Jesus. EVER.
