From "The Office": an American television mockumentary sitcom broadcast on NBC. Angela is the biggest hypocrite of the entire office. Her -The Office mattress was a priceless moment. If anyone ever deserved to be slapped in the face, it was Angela. I loved Phyllis deliberately trying to annoy her. ❤

During the "I'm trying to understand what you're saying but it's difficult when you use that... tone" Angela kept busting up laughing at the way Phyllis said "tone" lol. They had to redo it like 8 times 😂 and she couldn't respond with that mean line back to Phyllis cause she was cracking up everytime. Rainn (Dwight) has a podcast and he just had her on there. It's a great podcast, I love the "Creed thoughts" episode where Creed comes on too. They are best friends irl ❤ the bloopers between Angela and Dwight are hilarious. Angela's a lovely southern mom irl. She uses a different accent for the show
This is why people will choose anyone else’s parties over hers in a heartbeat

I will say this, as a character, she probably had the most positive evolution. She actually made you like her by the end of it. She wasn't mean, she was just extremely stringent on herself. She was probably raised by a very cold person, who never knew how to socialize properly. I know someone like this.

Kevin is my favorite out o the lesser characters, but I like all of them, even if written as a unlikeable. I kind of dislike Toby they way Micheal dislikes Toby.

They did ! And granted it’s a very good scene, this doesn’t double the fun.
You know Angela is the mob boss they always made Bob Vance out to be lol it's a good thing those two never got together you'd have a mob king and the Godmother, Angela. She did take a hit out on Oscar when he slept with her husband and you see how she runs the party planning committee. She's carried on countless affairs while her lovers stood by her side, she's a master at manipulating people.
She has a lot in common with Nancy Reagan.
Hot take, I don't think Angela deserved a happy ending and I would have preferred it if Dwight ended up with Isabel

Hot Take (or maybe not): I don't think Angela deserved a redemption arc.
Her change was so fast, right at the end, and there was almost no catalyst to it. Yeah, her fake perfect marriage fell apart, but she went from "I'm literally hiring a hitman to kill Oscar" to "Happily Ever After with Dwight" in a half a season. 15 episodes to go from "Planning life-in-prison-as punishment Murder" to "Look at her dancing at her Wedding - aren't we happy for her?" is horrible writing (especially since calling it 15 episodes is generous - many of those contained zero character development for her).
Her redemption was driven by a desire to give everyone a happy ending, not because it made any sense for the character - and that's just bad writing.
I agree. I think they just had her get the dream wedding because Dwight was in love with her and he deserved a happy ending. However, imo, he should’ve married the young farm girl, and Angela should’ve kept living with Oscar and parenting with him, cause her getting along with him was her only redeeming factor. But that would’ve only worked if the baby wasn’t Dwight’s.
Fast? She starts to lose herself in *season 3* when Dwight quits because of her but she can't tell anyone... she's tormented enough to go seek Pam for advice... from there on it's all a humbling downhill for her.

And then her "humbling" marriage to the Senator and her "humble" season of crowing about it, leading up to her "humbling" attempt to have Oscar murdered. All that "downhill" character development to "redeem" her INTO AN ATTEMPTED MURDERER. Which, man, if you don't think being an attempted murderer (and then "settling" on assault) is someones low point, then I don't know what to say.
And if you do think that's her low point, then that's LITERALLY WHAT I WROTE. I know literacy's hard - keep working though, you'll get there!

Angela Martin was one of my least favorite characters on The Office, but Angela Kinsey did a GREAT JOB on playing her. When you like the actor, but hate the character they play, you KNOW they do a good job!

I was not a fan of Anela or Pam for that matter. I thought Erin was the best female character.

In her defense, almost all of her coworkers are useless, his boyfriend killed her cat and her husband cheated her with her most close colleague. She has no right to be mean, but I can clearly understand why she's mad all the time...
Maybe Angela can be mean and nasty sometimes, but I felt sorry for her after the way Senator Lipton treated her.

She might be evil, but she’s not the least likable character for me. Angela has redeeming qualities as well! I love those moments between her and Dwight, especially when she gave Dwight a bobble head figure of himself. Also, it’s important to understand that her character was modeled after a typical cat. She’s literally a cat in a human form. She’s independent, but is also manipulative. She’s indifferent, but she’s passionate when she’s in love with someone (like how cats treat their owners). She’s not a horrible character. I personally hate Oscar way more than Angela! She adds something to the story, Oscar can literally not exist in the Office, and nothing would change.

My least favorite would be Toby, I agree with Michael. Hate Toby, good writer/producer though. Creed too, both Toby and him have been considered as potential Scranton Stranglers. BUT we all secretly know the SS is Bob Vance of Bob Vance Refrigeration, Phillis knows or suspects too.
