Dwight acknowledging that it's maybe not a great idea to compare themselves to the Axis powers is some serious character growth.
Or more likely comparing the Germany/Italy bond was a bad comparison to their buisness practice. As unlike Germany, Italy wasnt as industrialized and mostly agrarian. So at times more of a liability than anything.
@@jacobsalmi5582underrated history right here
“She’s got genes so pure you could lick them” in the same episode lol
@@jacobsalmi5582😊
@@claymills771 I thought there would be more historians who liked the office. Plus it would be in Dwight's charicter to know the full dynamic between the obviously superior Germany and Italy being a good lacky at best and a liability as worst. Which doesnt give jim enough credit, which ironically still shows charicter growth.
"THIS EXPRESSES HOW LOUDLY I LOVE YOU" - Dwight can never NOT be Dwight even when he is at his most unDwight
Angela had wanted to keep quiet about their relationship. This was the perfect way for Dwight to counter act the quietness is with loudness.
The bear of my seed! (c)
He was the most unDwight when he accepted the promiscuity. The writers didn’t give a deserving ending to the Dwight character
i always get emotional when Dwight finds out Philip is indeed his son and he screams “i’m a dad!”
Get oouuut
It's actually really sad. Angela is a manipulative little see you next Tuesday. That might not even be his son. Dwight was supposed to defeat the simps, not join them.
@@markd9318 Who else's son would that be? Who can handle Angela other than Dwight? 🤔
@@markd9318 Because defeating the simps like a sociopath makes for great situation comedy. This is giving incel vibes.
Did they not get a DNA test that showed Dwight was not the father ?
i like how Dwight and Michael in the same situation asking Jim for love advice
well he married the woman of his dreams, after waiting for years. i think he’s pretty qualified
Love that
@@cirostrizzi3760 And don't forget that actually Jim got that by Michael's advice in the cruse episode when Michael said to jim it's never too late

It can’t be, No Michael, no fun🥹
Say what you want about the later seasons, but they hit the nail on the head with the end of the show.
and to bring it full circle the way they did was genius. The ending was probably the most perfect ending to a series while not trying to wrap everything up too neatly. How long did Creed serve? Or did he use a Get out of jail free card?

The first moment their friedship becomes painfully clear is when Dwight quits and then he hugs Jim in the parking lot while making the saddest face you've ever seen (apart from Kevin's famous chilli)
You know the episode ??:(
Agreed - and the way Jim seems genuinely concerned for Dwight.
@@Valeria-wg4qt season 3 episode 12 I believe
Why’d you have to take a sad but beautiful moment and ruin it with the saddest moment in the Office history? I don’t know how Kevin ever recovered from that.
Dwight becoming a husband, father, and manager. What more could you ask for.
Land lord, beet farmer, volunteer sheriff, and most importantly... not an idiot. 😉
Dwight is a walking green flag
He didn't take the red pill too.

Eh, at the end of the day the dude killed a cat. Hard to come back from that.
Dwight’s proposal was actually so cute… “I will raise 100 children from 100 of your lovers if it means I can be with you” I would’ve cried 😭
I wants to like this but there’s 69 likes rn and that seems appropriate for the context so I commented instead 👍

@@letsjusthope3099Dwight was a character that didn’t deserve such an ending.

Better yet
Bestitch Frenemieschh
They’re brothers
Dwight saying “I’m not kidding, I need you” after chucking the bean bag at Jim’s head, always made me wonder how aware Dwight was on Jim’s pranks. Or maybe Dwight finally just wised up about Jim after 9 plus years.
He stopped complaining to HR and pranking Jim back like season 5. He totally threw dirt in everyone's face as a prank
They’re like brothers! They love each other but get on each others nerves. For instance, when they are in Florida Dwight goes in the room with Jim and they sit on the bed and eat pudding and watch a movie. Yet they prank and plot each other. It’s one of the best office relationship
Handsome and Stinky, paper brothers for hire.
exactly!!!
Dwight finding out he's a dad was my favorite Dwight scene by far
The heartfelt moment between Jim and Pam cuts to Dwight aggressively yelling at Angela had me dying!
He had to make sure she could hear him over the road noise. The side of the road can be a noisy place.
I hope Jim and Pam would've died in season 1, they're so annoying. They're literally just taking up screen time. I have to skip forward every time these scumbags are shown
This is definitely the most heart warming episode ever in the office history😢
an underrated part of this clip, is the couple seconds after Jim said “not as good as you” @ 6:52. When Dwight goes “that’s very true … get the hell outta here” on the verge of tears and Jim makes 1 last look to the camera, he goes “you got it.” I love that. Dwight earned his dream of being manager, and Jim is finally following his superior’s commands completely. It just exhibits both of their complete respect for each other in the end. With the music playing in the background of Pam’s journey with Jim, it’s my favorite part of this upload.
This just brought back all the feels.
That's what she said!
Just a friendly reminder that Ryan started the fire
😂
270 times and counting David Peters reminds us.
We didn't start the fire!
I love the scene where Jim and Dwight are talking in Dwight's office, and it's one of the only times we truly see Dwight in a very vulnerable state, and it really touches me with how Jim really helps Dwight.
Dwight : “some sort of virus?”
Jim : “Love”
Dwight : “Oh”
I laughed really hard at that 😭😭
“Your agenda taking pleases him” LMFAO 😂
Jim simultaneously supporting and undermining Dwight's no-nonsense management.
get out! there's nothing funny about this, I'm sobbing.
They're BROTHERS.
Might fight but still love each other and have each others backs
I'll never forgive Angela for not letting Dwight raise his own child for YEARS. That is just simply cruel and the worst thing she did over the course of the show. In addition, she had an opportunity to make sure that philip was taken care for by telling dwight the truth but she was too selfish to look out for her own child.
omg that's so true. it's funny that she calls other people whorish and thinks she's so pure and superior when she was having an affair with dwight while engaged to andy, had a child out of wedlock, then lied to the father of that child and kept the baby from him for years
Years? I thought Philip wasn't even two when she told Dwight he was his
@@violetrose674 if you want to be pedantic just imagine it says “over a year”
Dwight had the opportunity to be with Angela much sooner and she was warming up to the idea, but he decided to blow her off to go be Hay King. And that's when she met the Senator... State Senator.
@@gregorymoore2877irrelevant 🤷🏾♀️ she still kept him from his child for purely selfish reasons. Together or not she should’ve told him.
Many people don't like the last seasons, but they had the most character development for Dwight and as my favorite character I absolutely love these seasons. The show was definitely not the same without Michael, but I still think they did a good job.
Dwight finding out he's a dad will never not make me weep..
Still makes me tear up even after a ZILLION viewings.
I literally was watching all these episodes this morning while I was cooking and cleaning, for the hundredth time lol I can not never tear up at the end ......
4:33 TIL, Macs used to have disc players!!!!
Oh YES. I miss them ☹
Dwight and Jim saying they overcame their differences like *"We were bad, but now we're good".* That Lenin-esque portrait of Dwight in the background is chef's kiss. Jules Kmetzko was the one who created that portrait, she was the same one who did Pam's watercolor of Dunder Mifflin that hung on the walls. The idea to have Jim finally give Pam his card had been considered in the writers' room for some time, but only during A.A.R.M. did the writers feel it was the right time. The card and envelope was the same one used for Christmas Party almost seven years prior. The card actually contained a genuine message that Krasinski wrote for Fischer!
Director David Rogers admitted that the Pam and Jim video was inspired by a number of fan videos that exist on the internet. The reason that Open Your Eyes by Snow Patrol plays over the video is that Claire Scanlon, the series editor, felt that it was similar in style to Sing by Travis, which played in the second season episode The Client.
agh thank you for commenting this lol im so interested in finding out what was in that letter
any info about the content of the letter?
The one time Dwight needed Jim and he didn’t screw him over, heartwarmingly wholesome moment ❤️
Seeing all that footage of Jim and Pam...it's enough to make a grown man cry, and that's okay. Dwight is a leader who knows best, and he is lucky to have a pal like Jim! Our artists were the ones who created that poster in the background at 0:40 for Dwight, so I'm glad he appreciates it! Fun facts: Angela's son, Phillip, was played by twins Vince and Evan Edwards. The child that filmed the scene in which Phillip picked the beet was only supposed to point to the beet. In the end, the child said "beet!", which the episode director called "Amazing". Dwight's test to see if Phillip is his son has been compared to a similar scene in the 1997 film Kundun, in which Tibetan monks practice a similar ritual.
Here I was I was thinking North Korea doesnt have internet access..

grown men cry too, its not a special thing, just like some grown women dont cry either. Thanks for the fact though
Oscar: you dont wanna wake up the grumpy old walrus do you?

I wish they ran with Dwight being manager and Jim being assistant back in season 6 rather than going through all the different ones. He loved that company and even though he's very strict, they coulda made it work. I feel like he was the only one that could have stepped in Steve's shoes and paired with John, could still make great wholesome comedy
I think David Brent should have been manager for a day.
Keep the good parts of Andy as manager, replace the trainwreck part with Dwight from the getgo
Replace DeAngelo with David Brent
“I will raise 100 children from 100 of your lovers” - Dwight expressing his love for Angela 💀
Jim has to be the luckiest guy to have had a film crew capture the majority of the moments he's had with Pam. And to use that for a short compilation to present to her
All those precious moments she cheated on Roy with him
How convenient that I was chopping onions for my Grandmother's homemade meatloaf as I watched this.
Are we just going to ignore how Angela kept Dwight and his son apart for the first year or more of his life purely as a test of his commitment? Neither of them deserve that type of abuse
This is the only thing that soils this episode. Dwight is totally fine when he should be livid. Just to test him, she took away the first few years of bonding between the two. Hypocritical, self righteous and narcissistic and yet Dwight goes for her as opposed to Esther. Idk it really runs me wrong man, I would've loved to have a conclusion where she doesn't have a happy ending.
Ok but at first she was with the senator. And it really only became a test of his loyalty in the last week (or however long that episode spans) But she should have told him.
@@Lollipop.er42 I always thought that it was all on the same day, because they're wearing the same clothes and all
She wasn't testing his commitment, she already knew he was committed. She didn't want to marry out of obligation. She wanted to marry for love. She explained it pretty clearly in the clip.
@@gregorymoore2877 regardless of whether you say she was testing his commitment or testing his love, she kept a dad and son apart for a year for selfish reasons when they should have been bonding
I've got nothing smart or funny to say. But yes
I only wish there were more episodes of them as friends. They were so funny and great as allies.
Have seen dozens of sitcoms, tbh, no other sitcoms have ever topped the final moments of The Office♥️
The 100 lovers line is the most bizarrely romantic line I've ever heard in all of media.
“Her dowry contains a walk in freezer filled with ‘premium’ cattle sperm” had me dead
Can we talk about how this video is not only great between Jim and Dwight, but also exactly 10 minutes on the dot😂
Dwight and Angela started out as two of the most unlikable people in the office, but by the end of the show you can't help but realize they actually do(and always did) make a pretty cute couple.
What is cute about them? Please go into detail

Yea the first time I finished the series I would rewatch it 5 more times while skipping season 8 and 9. Didn't Dwight already yell out THAT BABY IS A SCHRUTE wayyyy back when Angela gave birth?
That brought back some awesome memories. I used to watch The Office with my dad and he loved Jim and Dwight’s relationship ❤
Its nice to see happy endings. Because we don't all get them.
Dwights proposal was 100X better than Jim's

I really hope the reports on Adam Driver in the MCU are false, If John Krasinski is Mister Fantastic then Rainn Wilson would be perfect as the voice of HERBIE. Make it happen, Marvel.
B.J. Novak should be the Human Torch. Just imagine... the fire guy... played by the fire guy.
In the later seasons, about every other episode was gold. This series tried to jump the shark but kept doing wonderful things to the end.
The further we go in time and I watch this, it just hits harder and harder. I love this show so much.

Even to this day, I still don't understand how Dwight is Philip's dad when it was established in an earlier season that he wasn't.
My only explanation is that Angela told the doctor to lie to him when Dwight wasn't looking.
I just assumed there wasn't enough DNA in the stool sample to get a positive match.
If I’m not wrong, the thing is that Dwight accidentally took a diaper of Jim and Pam’s son. So he is indeed not the father of that child.
@@kalamaki77 wooow! I didn't even think of that one or noticed that he did can't remember gotta watch back. That's pretty good tho. I always just thought maybe Angela did tell the doctor to lie 😅

"Not if you fall in love with me first."
My favorite line of the entire series is "DWIGHT SCHRUTE IS MANAGER!!!!!!"
Dwight realized Jim was his friend when Jim comforted him with his break up and Jim realized Dwight was his friend when he pepper sprayed Roy.
How dare you make me watch this again now I’m crying my eyes out
My favorite moment is when Dwight is complimenting Jim for being a good assistant to the regional manager and Jim says “ahh thanks man”
Dwight and Jim are the best friends we needed but didn’t deserve.
YOUR AGENDA TAKING PLEASES HIM
Dwight marrying Angela is actually one of my least favorite aspects of the show. It doesn't feel like the show was leading up to it. And the way they did it - with Angela lying to Dwight about their son for what are essentially purely selfish reasons, while perfectly in line with her character, makes for much more bleak an ending than I think they wanted it to seem to viewers.
She should have went back with Andy and Dwight marries the farm lady.
The most wholesome episode of the office!! Gives me the chills all the time!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤
Wish we got a whole season of Jim and Dwight as friends, they are my favorite scenes of late seasons
Literally no one is talking about very communist dictator portrayal of Dwight in the conference room.
It's perfectly reasonable for Angela to refuse to be with Dwight and even deceive him about Phillip until she is certain he loves HER!
People, people. DO NOT marry just for the sake of a child. You're doing that child more harm than good by being with someone you can't love and commit to.
Your second paragraph is accurate, but the first is not. That is abusive of Dwight and the baby. We know the baby didn't have a good first year of life specifically because she was "testing" Dwight.
Even if she wanted his desire for marriage to be true, that has nothing to do with the child. He didn't get to bond with his baby for over a year because of her lies, and the baby was missing out on the additional care and affection.
You can coparent without being married.
“The best way to defeat your enemy is to make him your friend”
That Pam and Jim moment fcked me up emotionally
Pam seems to be able to perfectly time and reflect, Jim's sense of humor, she even acts like Michael sometimes lol.
Only Dwight would pit maneuver his future wife. Classic Dwight.
Imagine having your entire romantic relationship on a video for you to watch.
This is so wholesome 🥲
"Yes, beautiful girl in the front" 🥺

Season 9 had not many strong moments in the beginning but I thought the last 4-5 episodes were downright amazing
