I think it looks good. Opaque vs white wash is style preference imo. I see some think it should be opaque to be finished. I disagree. Personally, I’d probably go opaque since I lean into modern design ascetic which I believe opaque would merry more with modern design. But, for someone who likes other ascetics like a country cottage look the white wash and leaving some of the rustic looking brick as accents works well. I still can admit it looks good even if it’s not for me per se. I believe my mom would love this look.
You didn't make it thick enough.... it should have been thicker or a second coat so it covered the grout and everything thoroughly .... then went back and sprayed off or rag rub off, bits here and there, to give it a proper look, versus dental denture look, with all the grout lines visible through the white...
See these are also adventures. Not everything is 'going across the state on a bike' or 'go in the middleof nowhere to try cheating death.' Glad you're keeping us posted man.
@@YourOwnAdventure Concerning the limewash opinion: I'm of the opinion the rest should be done. Then again to me it looks like yo ucould almost go over the whole thing again with another coat. Kinda about hwo thigns worked with the last house my family was at. First coat basically soaked in, so us starting out with paint that ended up drying the wrong color turned out to not really matter since it effectivly was both primer and sealer for the top coat to go over. Also three hours tracks for a single side compared to how we went.
@@singletona082 I'll be posting another video with the finished product so far. We'll probably live with it for a while and may end up doing a fully opaque to change it up.
@@YourOwnAdventure I have to lime wash a wall today but I wouldn't leave any brick showing. I mean it's ok brother. People like different styles. It's ok then. I apologize
This is a very distressed limewash, I agree. We actually sold this house but if we were to do it again I'd go for a fully opaque for the reasons you pointed out. In this area, though, the distressed limewash look was very popular and it influenced us.

You can do that on YOUR house. This is ours!
I love it

@@YourOwnAdventure that's the good thing about this. you can always change it later. Stay awesome man.
I dont like it
@troyleekimble7557 hindsight. I agree. It worked well in the neighborhood but I wouldn't do it like this again.

@@YourOwnAdventure Have you done any other lime wash on houses? I have to lime wash a wall inside and out today
You have comments on so that implies you want comments.
I think it looks unfinished. Especially your porch. Like you ran out of paint or money.
