@Legend of the Blue Macerator the horse was protecting its baby from what was obviously a predator, a threat to both its life and the life of its foal, the horse isn't bad or in the wrong because it didn't ask to be in the environment it's in.
also no duh, obviously crocs don't kill everything they see, but does the horse know that? obviously not, all they know is "big predator that could hurt me and kill my baby, it's a threat to mine and my baby's life, must protect myself and baby". and of course, horses don't just randomly attack things either, from what the news report states, the croc was going near the horses, obviously, the horse isn't gonna like that.

When I was young I often took my dog to the field behind my house to do crazy farm boy stuff. One day a stray dog came into the field and my dog got into a fight with it about 3 foot away from the horse I alwas unsuccessfully tried riding. The horse was startled and reacted by thowing some kicks. One pegged my rastus in the top of this noggin just behind his eye. He survived for quite a long time afterward. Occasionally he would have a seizure and walk in circles for a bit. I felt so bad, I know he was protecting me. My dad put him down on my 16th birthday. He was the best, I miss him so very much.
