Last year intercepted phone call talking about how they kept moving in a new senior officer with a new trailer to the exact same spot only to watch him get blown up. And the front line soldiers says the Russian military have done it more than 3 times already and all 3 senior officers died at the exact same spot only a week or two apart.

I'm no expert, but I don't see a real win for Ukraine, but there is this pyrrhic victory for Putin - who is still quite popular - like Trump is.

Both sides have found that any large assembly of combat or supply vehicles approaching the front are going to be seen and wiped out. It is one thing to sacrifice vehicles to gain ground, it is another to throw them away before they can even engage the enemy. Ukraines tactics are that of patience and make sure any major attack does not come before the ground is prepared to allow success going forward as much as possible. I believe a lot of the sparse use of Ukrainian vehicles is used to draw Russian artillery fire to give away position to allow counter battery fire. Eventually Russia is gonna run low on artillery, men, supplies or whatever and then Ukraine can and will move forward. The constant and spread out pressure that Ukraine is applying to multiple areas forces the Russians to constantly have to adjust resources which requires movement. If something is moving it can be spotted and destroyed. Static forces have to be starved out, and or out maneuvered. I do not think Ukraine is yet stuck, just everyone has this video game mentality that if you move fast enough and boldly enough that victory will come quickly.
