Really like how you guide us through the popular areas of Seoul. All the popular hoods with it's activities and of course the history. Looking forward myself to enjoy Korea in the future.😍😍
I appreciate this kind of content, especially you adding the history and cultural impacts of each of the cites. Thank you for taking the time, really enjoying this series.
Aside from the bagels, Apgujeong looks like a wonderful area for high-end shopping. I would hit it for shopping, lunch, and afternoon cocktails with my friends. That would be a fun day!! Thanks Anna!!!
I love this content. If I ever make it to South Korea, I'd hire you to be my guide lol. I love the history information you give and how you try the food. Take care Anna
OMG, wait a min, I'm 5 min into your video, and I'm screaming YEEESSSSS🩷 this is everything.... Everything about this video is a yes. I'm learning a lot of things. I love how you mix old and new.
Rodeo in the '90s was a great place to spend an afternoon/evening before heading off to Itaewon or Hongdae. My favorite memory: I was in a place with a Karaoke stage one day and I got up to sing a Korean song at the urging of a couple of friends (probably 사랑을 할거야 by 녹색지대, which was what I butchered most often back then after a Korean-Canadian friend convinced me that 만남 was an 아저씨 song). Some young Koreans were making a big deal about an American singing Korean and invited us over to their table. We spent the next couple of hours drinking lemon soju with them. We went back several times hoping for a repeat. No such luck. But I loved hanging out there. The Rock and Roll Bar was my favorite spot. They had two locations within a short walk and made the best Long Island Iced Teas. They were open well into the 2000s, but have been closed a few years now. Back then, when a business closed or moved, their space went very quickly. You never saw any empty spaces there. The last time I was in Rodeo a few months ago, I saw a few. Different times.
I loved the video, I like how you put in a subtle history lesson through out the video it’s educational in a fun way❤please make vids like these it’s so fun to watch.
Loved this, thank you Anna, it makes me feel like I’m wandering around Seoul with a friend - what a beautiful city 💜💜 And yes, your videos are being watched by people around the world - I’m in South Africa 🇿🇦 (I’m from the UK though - maybe one day I’ll get to Korea…)
Thank you so much to give me a tour in Seoul South Korea and take it for sharing the history of fashion. That looks very interesting and I really love the bakery. It looks so yummy. You should do videos of history fashion in many places and thank you for the information at the places And have a great amazing day Anna Lee ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Really great series Anna! I love the history lesson and the cafe hopping! Would also love to know your thoughts on best neighborhoods to rent for foreigners. Love your content 💕
Wonderful video and funny as usual! Wished I saw it before going to Apujong rodeo last year. You’re right about the cafes there though, mostly overpriced and even desserts don’t taste that good. P.S : that Austrian guy was totally trying his luck with you on his “last night”.
this is the first video i am watching from your channel and i love how honest and realistic your vlog is! if possible we would like to see other "neighborhood guide" kinda of vlogs ( Seongsu for example ^^ ) thank you
I'm jealous you've seen SHINee! But, excited for you!!! I'm so hoping they do a World Tour 23/24 to the US/California. Thanks for sharing your tour with us, and how fun is that people are stopping you to say "Hi". That's so cool.
Thank you so much for making the video so informative. I know it takes a lot of time in collecting the facts, editing them and making them relevant. Some may argue that it your job but I will say you are doing it out of pure passion. Thank you so much for all the hard work. I hope you don't overexert ypurself with youtube and Nalva. Cheering up on you!
Nice video. I learned something new today - Orange tribe and Yata. Please continue doing these videos. They're great along w/ your personal stories. LOL on the firm goodbye to the man from France.
I think waiting in line for 2 hours always removes the magic in it. 😂 that’s why I don’t usually go to hyped out places or places with long lines. I read google reviews though, that helps a lot. But the background you have shown is quite astounding. It is a stark contrast from where your country is now ❤
Interesting! Should research this Orange Tribe kids thing! It’s sad that they never updated the Kpop Bears! Fun and interesting video! Good job Anna! 👏🏻👏🏻👍
Apgujeong is definitely a super 🆒 place to hang around .Your vlogs are so informative . Anna , you must be the prettiest girl out there !! My question, since it is a posh neighborhood, are there any social clushes happens between haves and have nots or is that all in the past ?
Hi Anna, You are so famous that people recognize you. Well, they probably watched your videos and decided to go to all the places. You’re a tour guide. It was funny when that guy from Austria asked how many subs you had and you told him that he had to subscribe to find out. Haha (And yes, I am subscribed to your channel.) Also, you are great on Korean Pizza Club.
Wait I think I was the one who commented apgujeong!! Thank you Anna😭 The video was really good! The history on the orange tribe🤯 and the nightlife looks really pretty!!
Are foreigners welcome in this area of APGUJEONG like clubs and bars at weekends or do most of them have this no foreigners policy? Good video overall, loved the explanation how it was before and how it is today. Have a great day, with respect. 😊
Is london bagel a long wait yes, is it the best bagel I've had in Korea also yes. Near there is also a cheap ramen place called gatpo ramen which has gobchang ramen which I have never seen anywhere else (not incredible but unique). Forest (not cheap) is a dope restaurant near there, the pork steak and pastas are amazing as well as their drinks too. Rapaellisu is another good spot (expensive) but if you ever want really swanky seafood tteokbokki that is the place to go. Finally I have to recomend Schedule (again pricy) is where I took my girlfriend for our one year anniversary and it for sure is a great memory. The scallops were not only the best I have had in Korea but were possibly the best I have ever had. But the pastas, holy crap thinking about it now makes me want to book a reservation.
I like this kind of videos introducing different areas of Seou and thanks for that. I just came back from Seoul and gee, it was exhausted going to different places and thus I couldnt visit all the places on my list, so for sure I will visit Seoul again, probably when the BTS boys are all out of military services.
Loved this video. You make very informative content for foreigners who would like to visit Seoul or may be known more about Seoul. Also I liked how you said "where's BTS, that's the only one I care about" 😂😂
“what’s special about this? nothing” hahahaha. i feel relieved i didnt line up for that now!! but true. i believe their bagels are of real fine quality. just if you have time to queue
Loved your video! :) I'm definitely checking out all of the spots you mentioned when I go to Korea in 2 weeks. Is there a stylist you would recommend at Haum? Thanks!
Still remember some dates and drinking nights in Apgujeong during my exchange year at Seoul Dae. Seems like it’s still a great place. Does ON still exist?

Love your videos Anna! Probably going to check out Times this Friday. 😊
WHAT KIDNAPPING THE ORANGE PEOPLE THEN.??? 😩😩😩
the history you mention and the footage included is amazing - it adds so much value to the vlog
Thank you for talking about the Orange Tribe. It's very interesting to learn about the transitional period of Korea.
Really like how you guide us through the popular areas of Seoul. All the popular hoods with it's activities and of course the history. Looking forward myself to enjoy Korea in the future.😍😍

As a busan gal who honestly doesn’t know much about seoul, i am LOVING this series on your channel 👏

What a nice time of year to be walking around Apgujeong! There was some great info in this video - very enjoyable! 🙏
Aside from the bagels, Apgujeong looks like a wonderful area for high-end shopping. I would hit it for shopping, lunch, and afternoon cocktails with my friends. That would be a fun day!! Thanks Anna!!!

Anna you're a true warrior for you followers waiting in line 2 hours. Love your videos! Keep up the good work.
This woman keeps it real. She is the only YT-er who has said anything about London Bagel being average (which it looks to be). 👍👍👍
I loved the video, I like how you put in a subtle history lesson through out the video it’s educational in a fun way❤please make vids like these it’s so fun to watch.

No because the new money people were really a shock to Korea at the time, but nowadays everyone is doing quite well (compared to back then)
I appreciate your vlogs so much Anna. Always blessing us with gems 💖
Song Hye Kyo is really the goddess of beauty of Korea.
the history!! so so good.

Still remember some dates and drinking nights in Apgujeong during my exchange year at Seoul Dae. Seems like it’s still a great place. Does ON still exist?
