I can't explain it but this song makes me think of my sweet Yorkie Toto who passed away Dec 9 2023 after being with my wife and I for 15.6 years. I tear up from such deep love for him that we will never feel or see again. Mom and Dad love and miss you deeply.
A very disciplined performance.by Andy Williams where every phrase, every line is infused with a deeply felt longing for a love lost. an extremely moving performance. and of course beautifully sung.
His voice was so smooth and a pleasure to listen too. Always wanted to see him at his Andy Williams Theater in Branson. However I did see him at the Circle Star Theater not far from San Franciso. What a pleasure that was. My other favorite was Robert Goulet !! Two wonderful Voices to Enjoy....Now Gone. RIP
He owns that number...Rest his soul...He was a good dude..Stuck by his former wife too.. during that trial...What a great artist he was...His autobiography was great..

It was in our jukebox too, a few years later, so one of my folks must have purchased it. A pretty unusual song, sung by an incompatible singer, and a tragic movie ( saw that several years later). Frankly, I'm not sure they go together. Something to look up!
