The really funny thing is that JJ is actually a decent actor in this. Usually the athletes that made it on SNL were really fish out of water, which had its own charm. But JJ Watt is actually legit funny.

This was a spoof about the movie, "Richard". Richard was a walk-on for Notre Dame back in 1990 & no one expected him to ever play. He eventually did play when the starting quarterback was suffering from clinical depression. Richard (played by Sean Astin) eventually won 7 straight games for Notre Dame & the national championship. He also won the Heisman Trophy that year & went on to play 6 season for the Atlanta Falcons. So, whenever you watch, "Richard", think of Richard Jankowski & all he suffered. Thank you.
