its a freakin nightmare,,, im 44 been playing football games since tecmo bowl... it never needed be this complicated , used to never even understand the play call..would just random and hope for best, then when understood it and used it it was fun and easy... this game makes things way too hard

There should be AI player instincts by now, such as the toe tap tap near the sidelines - all those "catch modifiers" should be comuter/AI actions so you don't have 15 different button combos to try and recall and perform in 2 microseconds!! Another is jumping over a defender laying on the ground. C'mon - let the computer perform that as an "instinct" the user doesn't HAVE to perform unless they want to.
There’s touch pass as well- bullet, touch, and lob passes. Press and hold receiver icon for bullet. Press and release for a touch pass. And tap it for a lob.

This madden is the first we’ve picked up for a few years, and we’re both really struggling lol. Seems a lot harder than when we last played a few years ago
Sliding your blockers on an inside blitz so you can roll out is wrong. You want to slide it if you see an overload blitz. If a blitz is coming from the inside, then stay center and just throw into the blitz. The middle field will be open. By rolling out, you're forcing your qb to throw to only one side of the field or to throw against their body. Rolling out after dropping back eliminates half the field for the defense to cover basically.

Instead of blocking running back, put him on a delay, better animations, sometimes when you just block they don’t find a defender

People also need to figure out how to do , bullet, lob passes and how to use them.
Get in the lab every qb is different. I use 20/20 with J Allen and played with Hurtz and couldn’t complete a pass.
