When I saw your video I first thought, where's a review video under 5 minutes? But I started watching and it wasn't just a bunch of blah blah hot air. You have true substance to your review with all your tests and segments which couldn't be crammed into a short video like I thought i wanted to see. You earned my like and subscribe. Thank you.
I really like the 1911 platform for its feel and grip angle. The blow back action is nice for realism. However, Manufactures Please Listen to our requests for 22 cal rifled barrel 1911 repeaters and semi autos. It doesn't matter to me if the velocity is lower. The 22 cal pellets are much more accurate and so much easier to handle than BB's and or .177 pellets. 22 cal has become the new standard in air rifles let's do the same for the pistols, so we have just 1 caliber to buy.
Frank, I have been saying that for years and I am about ready to see if I can develop my own...Rifled barrel, blowback, 400 plus FPS. I like the .177 and .22 both. Happy Shooting!😉
Hey JC. Another great review. You sure handle that pistol like a pro. Been traveling and missed your reviews. Thanks again for all the effort to produce these videos for the the air gun community.
Another excellent KWC variant, from a very long line of different flavors. I've got 2 of those myself: the Colt Commander and the Springfield Armory. Thanks for sharing.
Hi JC, this new 1911 series starts very well, I like the 1911 platform, really this replica this very realistic, although it has good performance I have a preference for pellets, Another great review. good weekend.
I have the Mil Spec and I'd like to get the Barra to show how the 1911 has changed and "upgraded" to a more current 1911 configuration. Hammer, dove tail, am - bee - dex - truss ( no I ) safety, accessory rail and the use of different materials etc.... Great review Mr. Detective 👍👍👍👍👍
I will in the next video I feature a pistol that normally has that white lettering.....in fact I just removed the lettering on a Walther CP88, they are one of the worst amzn.to/34F4HL3
There are many pistols that come from the KWC factory. Tangfoglio 1911, Bara 1911, Colt Commander 1911, Sig "We the People," just to name a few. All take the same magazines.
I just got my 1911 its lovely i can't wait to try it every thing is amazing like really but there is one tiny problem that is my front iron sight is loose is that normal? How do i tighten it ? Anyway best gun i had i will put a 5 star
That's a good 1911 and it has some decent velocity as well. Those are made in Japan and the same company makes two of the Sig 1911's. The magazines are even interchangeable. I will cover that in-depth. Thanks for tuning in 👍
Do you think you could do a review on the umarex legends luger parabellum P. 08 full blowback pistol Thanks for your reviews I my opinion one of the best on RUclips Cheers
(Sue McMahon is my wife.) I really like your reviews, especially the consistent pattern. Makes it easy to compare other pistols. I can see how you like the 1911. I actually just bought this pistol based on your review and the fact that I'm a Viet Nam Vet. I am picky about triggers. One reason I chose the 1911 was because of the short throw. Which 1911 has the lightest trigger? Do you like a light trigger? Have you modified a 1911 to lighten it? The one I bought seems to have a heavy trigger, but then I have a Benjamin Trail break barrel that I modified, and it now has a hair trigger. I love it. I also just bought the gauge you are using to test this 1911 to see if it is actually heavier than normal. Keep up the good work. I've never subscribed to RUclips site, but I might to this one.

Thanks for another useful review. As a historian, I would love to see you begin a series focused on military replica air guns focused on say WWII replicas. You are in the process of reviewing 1911 Series pistols (WW1, WW2, Korea, Vietnam, etc.. You have reviewed a Walter P38 (WW2) replica and the Wembley revolver. A number of other WW2 replica guns exist including a military version of the Thompson submachine gun; MP40 submachine gun; M1 Carbine; Mosin-Nagant M1944 rifle; the M3 Grease Gun submachine gun;.
That's the problem...they don't make a 1911 blowback pellet pistol. I may have to tackle that design myself. It could be done easily. But I would want it to shoot lead pellets in the mid 400's. Maybe less shots and more velocity. 🤔
@@AirgunDetectives Check out the design of the. Walther PPQ M2 pellet pistol or the how about the Sig 320 belt design? With the 1911s longer barrel Maybe?
Hi, I have a question I’m on my 2nd Swiss arms 1911. How long do your models last typically? I shoot a lot probably upwards of 15 co2 cartridges a week. The fist one lasted about 4 months and the 2nd one is now starting to have problems. What blow back pistol do you think lasts the longest? I figured you shoot a lot like me! Thanks
jc i had a question i use a beman, r7 clone made in pakistan darra with orignal lw barrel ocassionaly after about 250 pellets i put 2drops of oil high flashpoint silicon oil in chamber so keeps my fps above 800is it good practice can desiling help us in keeping small game pest control gun high power.well its 80s gun and am shooting it from my teens just replace seals and spring Annualy.
Normally that is not good for the seals. Most seals are designed with a compound that self lubricants. The initial grease used for assembly is all it needs. Also dieseling is not a good thing. You are constantly creating an explosion in a gun that is not designed for that. It can be hard on the piston seal and create large deviations in velocity which impacts accuracy. That type lubrication was used more in the old "leather" piston seals. That being said, whatever works for you and you just may need to replace your piston seal sooner than later. Happy Shooting 👍
@@AirgunDetectives thanks Jc nice answer replacing seal and spring is not a problem i do it annually locally made springs and synthytic seals are cheap here in pakistan thanks for reply keep it up sir.
Nice pistol but just the same as all the other variants around but missing the trades. First thing to do though for any owner is get rid of the awful white writing.
The 1911 is by far my favorite sidearm. I carried one in the Corp. I love the engineering of this one. However, that tacky white writing and the fact it only fires BBs, would prevent me from buying one.
