- I ordered this rare and highly sought after custom, 1/4 scale Spawn statue nearly 2 years ago and preorders sold out in seconds!
This week it finally arrived, but was it worth the wait?

One of my absolute favorite characters next to venom!! I would love to add this one to my already venom spawn collection I got going, it's all I collect, awesome review just subscribed 🙏🏼

Try using some Vallejo gloss or satin varnish. If the paint isn't sealed properly...which it looks like it might not be, then modge podge can make it bubble and crack. The Vallejo goes on much smoother anyways.
Oh man, this is great info. Thanks for letting me know, I could have f-ed up the statue with that Modge Podge. Will try the Vallejo gloss.
Truly insane statue. Certain types of varnish will make the paint less flat but practice before using on this. Great to have you back 👍🏻

I'm an artist and I've repainted a statue before and was very happy with the results. Sounds like you're an artist as well so I'd give touching it up a try... add a little detail and a gloss coat where needed if it bothers you that much. Crazy cool statue though, congrats!
Thanks! Yeah, I think that's what I'm going to try to do. Though I've never tried painting statues before. I guess 1st time for everything lol.
Maybe some more weathering is the word your looking for.this does look amazing.yes repaint if your truly not happy with it.see if you can have it weathered might save some $ instead of repainting the whole piece.

I have the OG Gem Mint Spawn statue and it's sick, one of my favorite things in my collection.
Been looking at this, might consider picking it up at some point.
There's also a new Gunslinger statue out that looks amazing.

Fricken amazing piece bro. Unfortunat about the paint on it 😕 I guess that's the gamble with customs. I'd personally would go with Mod Podge. Anything to help bring the statue up.
Thanks man! Yeah, I was actually recommended something similar in a comment here that I might try. Apparently Mod Podge can cause bubbling if used on some paints?

Oh good question, I'm not actually sure but I'd try a craft store, or even Amazon.
