One hour is all that’s necessary. You can go longer, up to 3 hours, if you’re using a lower fat content milk. The longer the water bath the richer the milk becomes.
I could see doing this if was real cows raw milk because it’s worth saving but a waste on poison store fake milk. Everting that much time and money and if want to be healthy and safe real farm raw cows milk is only way to go.
I’m not sure what state you live in but the state Is live in, it’s not legal to sell or purchase raw milk from a farmer. If I had that opportunity, I would.

About 3 years. As long as it’s sealed, indefinitely.
I did this with my goats milk and they all eventually unsealed and went bad. What could I be doing wrong

All milk can be water bath canned. I use skim milk because some of my family members have high cholesterol and and some other medical issues.
