My 4 Reasons Why The Transformers Movie Series Needs Another Reboot (Remake): 1. The characters need to be truly based on the '80's Transformers toys. 2. The series needs to focus more on the Autobots vs Decepticons fights. 3. No human characters. And 4. The next movie director needs to focus on the Transformers characters' backstories and not make up his or her own backstories for the characters.
Daniel Yerkes The deluxe trailer won't work with this figure in my opinion. It is too small. You may get away with it on the modern movie versions; SS-5 & SS-32 because they have a small vehicle mode, but this figure has a true voyager size truck mode, too big for the deluxe trailer. Hero No. If you watch my video; Trailer Options for Studio Series 5 (Ep. 158), you'll see that the deluxe trailer was almost too small for that figure and the front trailer wheels were up in the air. Considering how much bigger this figure is from that one in vehicle mode and it simply won't work. You need a voyager size trailer. Thanks for watching!
Hero Not sure what answer you were looking for. You asked if I think a small Deluxe trailer will work on a pretty big sized Voyager figure. I gave you my thoughts and I even referenced a video where you can see actual comparisons. If you wanna put your deluxe trailer on your voyager figure go for it. It's your collections, display it however makes you happy.
The only negative i have for this figure is that his backpack is very wide that when you look at the figure from the front it "ruins" the taper of his torso from ribs to waist. Other than that the figure is amazing

I'm not sure what number we're up to as I generally don't collect the Studio Series, but I'm pretty sure we're still in the teens, so could be a long old wait. Another amazing video. I agree this Prime is outstanding. I think this may actually be my favorite Prime only under the actual G1 and MP 10 Masterpiece Primes. Not just for his robot mode, but this is also one of the all time best truck modes as well. Thanks for sharing!
That was the wrong cab truck design, the alt mode was from the age of extinction movie, and the evasion mode optimus prime was using the truck in the bumblebee movie

Such a gorgeous looking figure! He was fantastic in the movie itself and I want more Transformers movies with CGI G1 Transformers. This is probably the best remake of G1 Optimus Prime to date! Peter Cullen as the voice is just the icing on the cake!

I was just asking because i found the size to be a bit bothering, thats why i prefer the battle blades but its difficult to find. Also the SS optimus offers much more playability with combining jetfire and with the dotm trailer. I was hoping the upgrade kit with longer smokestacks would help.

I missed out on the original release studio series bumblebee movie optimus prime as I was busy with Star Wars at the time the figure was released. I do however own the premium finish version, which is essentially the same but with more movie accurate paint and now I don’t have to worry trying to get the original release.
Oh, dear, this is probably the first contemporary Hasbro Optimus Prime figure I really like (I don't like that much the truck mode and the distress marks of the Siege one) that would be inside my price range (not by much). I like that with movie Optimus not having a grid showing in robot mode the fake grid thing is not a problem anymore, having two grids always bothered me with my Powermaster Prime when I was a kid and watching videos of various Optimus variants I discovered now it bothers me even more for some reason. Heck it even seems the gun can be stored between the legs (heh) in truck mode which avoids a pet peeve that I aquired by watching toy review videos (and one of the reasons I lean on the KBB) of having the gun sticking back behind the truck. I think the only thing stopping me from buying it right now is the fact that at the moment here it's an import-only so it's sold at a much higher price than it should (which I imagine should be the same as the Siege one? Here that's € 29,99 which is technically more than $ 29,99 but still reasonable since it includes VAT taxes and all which I read are not included in US list prices), it would be a much tighter fit than a Legends class without trailer but it would still fit.

The figure itself is nicely made but I absolutely detest the design. I still don't even get why the heck he's now supposed to have had earth truck looking parts in robot mode while on cybertron. Oh it's cos it's pandering to the fans of that badly made cartoon from the 80s (and i grew up in the 80s and enjoyed the early G1 toys and the Marvel UK comic book of it but the cartoon was trash and it makes no sense when people criticise the Bay movies when the cartoon did so much more stupid stuff, like Autobots disguising themselves with labcoats for example). Bay's Prime made so much more sense in transformation and design. Multi-layered to be more structurally intact and logical in a real world. This Prime would mostly just be a hollow fragile casing in robot mode. But nah, Geewunners gotta geewhine and get their own way cos they're the most toxic group of fans in the Transformers fandom. The BB movie was a hollow rehash of better films (2007 TF, Short Circuit, ET etc) with shameless 80s nostalgia (constant 80s greatest hits album playing throughout to really drive it home), Bee acting like a scared puppy for most of it (except for going red-eyed and yet Charlie was ok with that sudden burst of violence despite saying he's totally harmless) and Cena over-acting like he's an actual cartoon soldier rather than a film one.
What we wanted since day one of the live action movies.

The figure itself is nicely made but I absolutely detest the design. I still don't even get why the heck he's now supposed to have had earth truck looking parts in robot mode while on cybertron. Oh it's cos it's pandering to the fans of that badly made cartoon from the 80s (and i grew up in the 80s and enjoyed the early G1 toys and the Marvel UK comic book of it but the cartoon was trash and it makes no sense when people criticise the Bay movies when the cartoon did so much more stupid stuff, like Autobots disguising themselves with labcoats for example). Bay's Prime made so much more sense in transformation and design. Multi-layered to be more structurally intact and logical in a real world. This Prime would mostly just be a hollow fragile casing in robot mode. But nah, Geewunners gotta geewhine and get their own way cos they're the most toxic group of fans in the Transformers fandom. The BB movie was a hollow rehash of better films (2007 TF, Short Circuit, ET etc) with shameless 80s nostalgia (constant 80s greatest hits album playing throughout to really drive it home), Bee acting like a scared puppy for most of it (except for going red-eyed and yet Charlie was ok with that sudden burst of violence despite saying he's totally harmless) and Cena over-acting like he's an actual cartoon soldier rather than a film one.
