Been to numerous drs, told to do PT for tennis elbow, had cortisone shots, MRIs done and drs ruled out all diagnosable elbow injuries. I was told there's no test for diagnosing some with Radial tunnel syndrome, just ruling out all of the other possible injuries first. I've had a kink in my neck and crippling nerve pain from both elbows down to the tops of hands for 3 years now. Acupuncture has been the only thing that has help me but I will definitely start doing these exercises. I want to fix my problem so I can workout and lift weights again. I feel optimistic after watching this video, so thank you!
Hey Mikaela. I've been dealing with similar symptoms for the past 3 years. Every time I return to the gym, my arm somehow gets worse. Did you find a solution finally?
Did you have success with anything? I to am dealing with Radial tunnel syndrome... and EKG shows its likely impinged around my elbow. Curious what helped you if anything yet? (Im going on a couple years)
I have been dealing with radial nerve pain for the past two weeks, and haven't been getting relief from steroids and muscle relaxers prescribed by my doctor. The "flossing" exercise provided almost immediate pain relief, and I got a lot of functionality back right away. Thanks for the help!

After a long couple of weeks with worsening nerve pain from a flaring prior injury, I was honestly panicked a little at the idea of stretching my wrist extensor muscle, I was sure it was going to hurt. It was a little uncomfortable at first, but by the end of the 30 second stretch, that actually felt so good. What a helpful video, thanks so much for posting this!
That last exercise really lights my arm up wow like 220 volts. 4 weeks ago all I did was roll on a rubber ball and somehow pinched this Radial nerve . lucky me
Great video, really relieved some burning tenderness between my wrist and middle forearm. By the time I got to the twisting arm, turning neck exercise the pain was gone. I wish I found this 5 days ago.

I'm hoping these kinds of exercises will help after it's been able to rest so the inflammation can go down a little.
This pain is no joke. whenever it happens it makes my arms basically crippled. My arms start shivering and i experience muscle weakness and extreme pain to a point that even moving my arms is a torture . It always happens when i train jiu jitsu or wrestling so it stops me from training and doing basic activities for the next 2 days
I have a case tourniquet palsy post forearm surgery, my patient can’t functionally move the wrist on flexion and extension and the fingers as well. Please suggest rehabilitation protocol
So happy to come across your exercises. I have radial nerve damage from a misplaced needle during a covid booster vaccination; have been in pain for 5 months and I have always had a strong pain tolerance. I was initially unable to sleep more than 3 hours per night from stabbing burning pain and unable to move my arm at all or dress myself, these exercises have been extremely beneficial more than the acupuncture and osteopathy treatments I have attended. Thank you so much.
I had a bone tumor (benign) on my radial head and I cannot supinate my arm, maybe a few degrees past neutral. 100% has to do with radial nerve. Thanks for the vid. Hoping to get my supination back.

I am unable to flex my distal joint of thumb and fore finger. And i have numbness in lateral part of fore arm, anterior part of arm and shoulder. Please suggest some exercises to improve my condition.
I have peripheral nerve entrapment in my left hand and have found 3 of 4 of these help more than what my Dr asked me to do following an arthritis exercise video, I have lost movement in my left hand and my thumb is numb, is there any further exercise that may help?
Will radial nerve pain pass through the Bicep and into the thumb? I spent most of last night’s bedtime reeling with this pain in both arms. And it’s still rearing its head throughout today. Have been battle issues from pinched nerve C 4, C5, C6 for several years and I use most of your suggestions and they work. Hi, my pain are more on the tricep, neck and some tightness on the pectorals. I did have some flaring across the wrist. Visibly, the radial nerve is protruding more pronounced in the problematic arm on the forearm. It affects protraction of the shoulder at the end range of a press with soreness at the back deep in the delts. I do not experience any tingling numbness. It's pain and tightness. I have shoulder issues on both arms but the right is alot more limiting with these specific pain spots that is confusing me. Therapist and orthopaedic have repeatedly tell me its the rotator cuffs but it feels so different on both arms and i have regain ability to do pull ups and bench press. I still continue to train the rotator cuff faithfully but the pain points on the tricep and back of the delts never improve. When i come across the anatomy of radial nerve, it hits me that the pain spots seem to run along where the radial nerve is.
You can try ice or heat as they both have research for reducing pain. People vary on which one works better, so I would experiment with them and see if you notice any positive benefits.
I have felt pain along my arm to forearm as you indicated. Also pain sometimes results in headaches . Is it common for radial nerve pain to cause headaches?
Wow so i thought this was a kind of tendonopathy. I definitely have this, and I'm pretty sure it has caused pain raidating all the way down to my left ring finger, which doesnt not like to be in a closed fist postion for long when gripping hard. No loss of strength however (minimal at least). When I lift my finger and resist this wirh my other hand i can feel tingling running up my forearm. Thanks for the video
when doing tricep push down exercises and push ups, I feel a nerve like thing move inside the radial side of my right arm. There is no pain but I am worried, what could be it and how to fix it?
I can do all kinds of streaches and massages, but I have fingers that curl when I flex my wrist up. Very weak, i think I have entrapment at the elbow. Been like this for years, i think it started from a sholder impingement.
Hello, what could be the cause for almost full wrist extension palsy happening once for maybe half a minute after waking up in the morning, then fully going away? Also some occasional minor tingling during the day at random times (especially in the small finger).
I had golfer's elbow pain. so i wore a brace on my forearm.... it took about 3 or 2months to heal... when it did, I started having the Radial nerve pain. been almost 5 to 6 months. Radial tunnel syndrome is related to entrapment of the radial nerve near the elbow. However, some people do have compromise of the nerve roots in the neck that contribute to the radial nerve, so that area may need to be addressed as well.
@@RehabScience thanks. I got your book in the mail today. I'm glad I ordered it because I now understand the three phases and I would be doing these out of step. I'm going to concentrate on the first two neck routines and do phase 1 for a good 3 weeks before I move on. It's hard for me to gauge pain because I'm so used to living in chronic pain that it's just easier for me to go buy a very liberal timeline. I have several issues that I need to address but I might be going under the knife for hernia surgery. I either have a hernia, or two, or I have nerve damage. I won't know until a couple weeks from now. Therefore, I need to stay away from any resistance training at the moment. I'm a weightlifter so I'm not too incredibly worried about needing to gain strength Right now because the exercises you show are ones that I have done regularly. But eventually I will need to get back on them. The book is great, by the way.

I get shocks of pain when I stretch my hand out to grab things, accompanied by numbness and tingling in the hand. What nerves could be causing this pain? (I don't have carpal tunnel)
