Such an informative and precious video on the beauty and finer nuances of mrudangam pakkavadyam. Thank you Subramanyam mama, Bhakthavathsalam Sir, and Lakshmi mam for sharing this recording🙏🏾☺️❤️. Die hard fan of Bhakthavathsalam Sir's mrudangam vaasipu. Really look up to his admiration and respect towards my beloved MLV Amma.
Excellent Demonstration. Dr. Lakshmi Sreeram is delivering the narration beautifully. Thanks to Dr. Lakshmi Sreeram & Thiruvarurji for making this demonstration for all carnatic music lovers and students.
Guru Thiruvarur Bhaktavatsalam has very clearly demonstrated the intricacies of an accompanying artist . This is most educative & enjoyable. Veteran VVS again simplified the learining process. Thanks to musicians and Dr Lakshmi Sreeram.
Unfortunate for an English speaker trying to learn that the portions in Tamil (or Telugu?) are not translated and that the CC do not line up with the speech. This is my only complaint about this otherwise excellent course offering!
Aruran Arunanthy Thanks for that, but the part that the violinist sang, that doesn't seem to be in the lyrics of the song you mentioned. I checked multiple sites. Do you think this might be a variation?
