@Olga Bushak oh, of course you know better! James is highly regarded in the UK and his character as a person and a TV/actor has been formed over many, many years, so I would leave your false accusations behind yourself
This is the second time today I've cried with/about James Corden. As a parent, I was not prepared for the emotional wallop of the realities of children getting older. Thank you for this conversation.
It’s sooo great to hear from James directly why he was choosing to leave his late night show. That story about his 10 year old son, 100% get it. Parents’ presence and quality time with children along with their approval is what children base their inner value off of.
I've never had a similar conversation with either of my parents, not even remotely close. Once I remember my dad and my mom saying they did the best they could when made a medical decision which would traumatise me for my whole life, losing trust in the world in general, scarring me with life long anxiety and feelings of insecurity- that was all they did when I challenged them about that decision, which got me into.a horrible institution in my early childhood. Never told me they loved me. I had to figure it out for myself against all odds. I'm blown away by James's wisdom and good parenting. I just wish every parent was educated before having a child.
I hear you. What your parents did to you is awful and there's no excuse for their behaviour. It can be so hard to see good parenting when that never happened to you. I hope you have surrounded yourself with people who get that. Take care.
That was an amazing chat James had with his son and so true!! My dad and I went through that challenging chapter of my life and now as a 52 year old woman I pray every parent takes that chat to their child🙏❤️

It's right that men grind everyday at their work to take care of their families. But it's just as important for fathers to put in that quality time with their families, too, otherwise, they later on regret the loss that comes with not spending time in nurturing those family moments and traditions that they and their kids will reminisce about years later.
