My mom saved these margarine bowls and repurposed them.
We did too, for leftovers. One time at work on my break I opened one up to find it was margarine and not my lunch lol
So did the entire neighborhood I grew up in. I enjoy Imperial, great taste. My parents worked for a company called "Imperial Yarn Mills" at the time this commerial was made.
Empty margarine containers are for recycling, not leftovers.
So did my mom!
Gold!! Thankyou BD!
A pleasure. =)
I just had toast with Imperial...where's me crown?!?!?!
Drop by your local Burger King, they maybe able to help you.
These commercials really worked, my parents still refuse to eat real butter hahaha
how simple funny
Back when Imperial was branded as "margarine." Most people still call it that, but it is now officially branded as "vegetable oil spread." I'm not sure if the vegetable oil content was reduced, or if the amount required to be branded as "margarine" was increased.
No hype there 😂
I remember these commercials.
We also now know that hydrogenated vegetable oil is not so good for you 😫
Nothing is good for you. That's why we don't live forever.
How many times i tried taking bites off that very margarine waiting for that crown to just show up. I don't wanna Blue Bonnet showing up like that.
Anybody else getting "Eat Rex beans, fit for a queen" referenced a couple years later in Tommy (Ann-Margret)? Anyway, I don't eat plastic if I can avoid it.
I didn't know bringing margarine to a baby shower could spice up the party.
What did they ever do with crown?
Sold it to Jerry Lawler.
What about the king and princes? lol.
Now that we have all learned how bad margarine is for us, this should be relegated to the history of bad food judgement.
all animals avoid margarine. if you offer them some, they will sniff it and reject it. I can cause anorexia in cats and stomach upset in dogs
