Best review for the X with kids! THANK YOU! I’ve searched so many times and could NEVER find a video of kids getting in and out. The 6 seater is definitely my fav configuration. I currently have the Model Y (two kiddos), but hope to upgrade to the X in a couple years. 🤞🏾
Another great video, you make very valid points, I see the practicalities of both 6&7 seats. I have 3 kids, which 2 are teens and the 3rd is still in elementary school, we take long trips about 3 to 4 times a year the longest would be to Florida from PA. But I can also see the transition from the van to the model x can be so seamless. Thank you
Thanks a lot!, I am now considering a 6 seater. Way easier when having 2, specially when we plan having both back in the 3rd row. I would just suggest you get a safer child seat man, nowadays there are great options out there. Thanks again for the video.
How versatile are the seats? Like if u have to grab an elongated box, can u fold the seats down to make a flat floor for stuff u need to carry? (Not that I’m gonna buy this for that reason but just wondering if it will be flexible enough to accommodate that scenario)
I like the rationale for 6 seats especially if in active use all rows all the time. The issue I have is that only the 5 and 7 seaters allow for the rear row to fold down and still keep a closed off boot section, where contents can't just slide forward and move about. In the 6 seat that is only the case when 3rd row is up - and then the boot is tiny! I guess the question comes down to how often is 3rd row used? If it is occasionally say when cousins or inlaws are visiting, then otherwise can keep them folded down and have both a big boot and have the boot section neatly closed off as well?
My son is 6’4” and he says they are fine. We are taking a long road trip today and he and a friend will be in the seats for ~5 hours. I’ll ask him after the trip today to see how it was sitting in it for a long ride. I also just did another video of a short road trip we took. One teenager in the back seat and one in the captains chairs.
Booster seat? Really? I don't understand why parents would not get the safest seat available for their kids. Booster seat are close to getting banned I my country.

Had me convinced the six-seater was the way to go with two car seats in middle row until 9:30. Wow, that's easy. Should have shown that A LOT sooner.

Also you don’t get stuffy when seating on the 3rd row in the 6 seater. The 2nd row bench on the 7 seater will block folks in the back completely.

felixletsgo 3 months in and I’m still super glad I got the 6 seater. We took our 1st road trip in it and it was great for the room in the back.
