He's the OJ of South Africa...he will mess up again in the near future and a longer prison sentence, we can only hope. A psychopath never changes, they just get worse as they age.
He served not half of his sentence, rather he served most of it- at least 10 years out of 14 (13.5) years. He was eligible for parole after 6 years in prison, according to South Africa’s penal law.

I feel sorry for Oscar, honestly.... not because he shot Reeva with a 45, not because he caught and did 9 years , cause... most excons come out with chops, tatoos ...! all he came out with was STICKERS !!!
If he were a poor mentally ill addict he wouldn't be free. Few USA inmates with excellent behavior are released early. Addicts are doing 15 years and they haven't hurt anyone. At least my son had the courage to admit his guilt. Again, wealthy athletes who have access to lawyers are treated above the law.
Just like Trump and all other elites with money. I thought the USA was the only corrupt justice system like that, I was wrong, I now see it is like this everywhere where the rich are never fully held accountable. We need some kind of vigilante justice in these situations.
