Likely some examples from other brands even smartphone camera nerds aren’t fully aware of. If you’re interested enough to watch all of the smartphone camera comparisons. You’re likely one to tinker with your images with post processing within the OS or manually selecting before.

@@augustogalindo8687 Actually, the. Pixel demolished the iPhone in the video due to the far superior quality with videoboost. Also, I personally think the pixel was better at the night photos as well, because it didn't try to brighten everything to look like daytime. If you like that look, you can always increase HDR effect and brightness on the pixel photo after the fact. And, with the astrophotography mode (3+ minute exposure compared to 30 seconds on iPhonr) the pixel will have farrrrr more detail and information. The iPhone just is set to amp up the brightness which looks fake in my opinion.
@@augustogalindo8687 I don't think so, most reviewers have picked Pixel for night shots. And Pixel in fact beats the iPhone if you use the video boost, especially at night.

Your camera comparison is so confusing especially about the pixel, I understand you're an apple fanboy which is expected. Overall, pixel camera is far better than iPhone especially in photos. With the video boast pixel is the overall King 👑
No. Panorama comparison that figures because it's something that the Pixel would blow the iPhone out of the water with. I promise you if the iPhone's new feature was panoramic mode enhanced. You would have included it.
This would be an interesting comparison in like 6 months, after both cameras have had many updates! Wonder how much would be different. Also has anyone done a camera comparison between two of the same exact phones, just after multiple updates?? Supersaf, that sounds like a good video.
At 3:03 how are there more stars in pixel photo? I can literally see more stars in the iPhone photo 🙄. And if you are showing Video boost feature that takes hours to process and get back then you should actually compare it to somewhat similar thing on the iPhone that will require same amount of time, a colour graded Apple ProRes Log video.
The reviewer is obviously an apple fab boy . He keeps trying to push the narrative that filters could be used on the apple pictures after shooting which is quite weird. It is no surprise that in blind camera tests, pixels always win. This is simply a biased review . Keeps saying you can do this and that to improve the default pictures from the iPhone , it's ridiculous. It's also obvious because when he claims apple wins in an aspect he goes on ranting to elaborate but of the pixel wins in an aspect , he breezes over it like it was nothing . The pixel had sharper images which were more vibrant and in mist cases true to life . Even a blind man could see that the reviewer was obviously biased . That's why he keeps saying " in his opinion". Why don't we allow photography and camera experts do the camera battle from now on yes??
Very hard to beat the iPhone in photography. That standard 24mp is simply superior to what other companies are doing. The ability to set a color standard on your iPhone is also an amazing feature. Colors play a big role in choosing what a person likes more. Simply having more details is not enough. Now Apple not only gives you 2x the resolution but also the ability to set the standard colors yourself. Overall, Apple is the best when it comes to photography and videography

TLDR: I’m on an iPhone 14 Pro Max. I appreciate the upgrade to iPhone 16 Pro Max is generally insignificant however I want a new device in the next 6-9 weeks. I can’t choose between the iPhone 16 Pro Max and Google Pixel 9 Pro XL. Those are the only 2 devices I’m interested in. And I just want thoughts that may help me make my decision. I’m on an iPhone 14 Pro Max. I understand I don’t have to upgrade and most iPhone 14 Pro Max owners won’t bother upgrading this year, but I want to buy a new phone. I’ve been stuck between the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL and iPhone 16 Pro Max for the past 3-4 weeks, though I appreciate the 16 Pro Max is an insignificant “upgrade” - if we can even call it an upgrade - on last year’s devices. But still, I want to buy one. Do I go for the handset whose ecosystem I’m fully invested in or do I go for something different? If I switch to the Pixel the transition will be a nuisance but not impossible, and though I’m partially “locked in” to the Apple ecosystem I can still see the path to transition out with a ton of patience. So I’m genuinely stuck. I have been for weeks. Countless articles, videos, I’m trying to decide but just can’t. Only a few things matter to me. 1. Screen size. I watch a lot of things on my phone. I need (want) the biggest screen possible with a vibrant display (no, I’m not interested in a Pixel 9 Pro Fold either). 2. UI responsiveness and overall UX. I never play games on mobile device - that’s what I have consoles and a gaming machine for. However I have zero patience for lag, scroll stuttering, and unresponsive UI’s during general day to day, non-resource intensive use. I have no patience for having to force shutdown a phone and reboot in safe mode to resolve issues. Whether it’s trying to load up an app, switch between apps, or general use of apps. I absolutely lose my sh*t if I ever experience lag or stuttering performance with anything that isn’t resource heavy. I also work a lot from my phone, so I’m constantly switching apps and running multiple apps at the same time. So I want a processor with good benchmarks, good processing power, etc. On that basis I’m leaning towards the iPhone, because let’s be honest the Tensor G4 just isn’t worthy of being in a 2024 flagship device. It’s comparable to last year’s mid-range devices. Frankly I’m disappointed that Google didn’t bother giving us a more powerful processor, more so considering the price of the Pixel is now on par with the iPhones for a 512gb device with Preferred Care with Loss and Theft. 3. Photography - camera quality, camera capabilities and post-processing software. I own a half decent DSLR but I don’t carry that around with me everywhere. I take a lot of pictures so I want a device with a great camera because most of my photos are taken on my iPhone. So I need something with great sensors and post-processing software and features to match. For this reason I’m leaning towards the Pixel because it seems to perform much better than the iPhone for the kinds of pictures I take, and it has exponentially more features for photography and photo processing. There are a few additional factors that matter to me, like battery life, UI simplicity (I really don’t care about depth of UI customization), but the above 3 are my primary drivers. I read about some issues some people have had with the Pixel, stuttering on scrolling, slowdowns after taking pictures and general lag issues. And silly bugs like the tilting camera bug. That is really putting me off from going for the Pixel. At the same time, I absolutely despise the Apple sandbox and how they lock people into their ecosystem. I also really don’t like Apple’s strategy of “innovation by omission” - Apple are the kings of repackaging old tech and marketing it as brand new and revolutionary. I’d argue the only real noteworthy upgrade to the iPhone 16 Pro Max is the A18 Pro. I don’t believe iOS 18 is anything special either. So yeah, I’m stuck. I’m not interested in a Samsung, Huawei, OnePlus or any other device. It’s either an iPhone 16 Pro Max or a Google Pixel 9 Pro XL for me. I genuinely just can’t decide which one. Honestly, I would be really grateful if someone could share their thoughts and help me make my mind up. But please no fanboys of one or the other. I appreciate Pixel vs iPhone chatter can elicit some bizarre tribal behavior at times but all that is noise to me, it’s not meaningful signal. I genuinely have zero loyalty to both Apple and Google. I like and extremely dislike things about both. I just want to go for the device that best fits my needs. Anyone have any thoughts? Anyone own an iPhone 16 Pro Max or a Google Pixel 9 Pro XL and have likes and dislikes about them? Would appreciate.
i used pixel only once , i used iphone when 3g came by first time, then to 4 , 4g, 5, se 6, 7, 8 10 10xr 11 upto 13pro i stopped , now using samsung, i can really tell samsung could be the best, but i will be buying the xl and make the real test, since i will buy it, i am sure i can do the real test and then i can give final opinion about which one is the best.

I have the pixel 9 pro and my wife has the iPhone 16 pro max, and I will tell you straight the pixel has a way better camera than the iPhone, Im not sure what settings your using mate but my pixel beats her iPhone every time, also a quick note, when using 30 x zoom on pixel for some reason the 12mp camera produces better results than the 50 mp camera.
Pixel is superior in almost every displine except lens transition🤗
overpriced trash with mid chipset
Saf, you must be getting a big pay from Apple. Lol....
No, he does not, he simply gets invited every year to Cupertino, California. (Apple Events)
Like in politics, you scratch my back I scratch yours. Tim Cook's back is pretty well scratched needless to say. LOL
Brought to you by Apple
ok android bot 😆
With the iPhone everyone has jaundice
hahahhh
Absolutely agreed with your conclusion. Video Boost changes the game for Pixel, I didn't even know it existed but I am blown away.
I bought every single iPhone and this year I switch to the pixel xl and to me is the best phone so far
dreaming much?
What do you think of the video quality? Only thing I’m worried about is taking videos seems smoother on iPhone. But been thinking of switching
I call BS 😂
This is an obvious unfair comparison.
Why?
Bro didn't even review the pixel 9 Pro XL and decided to do a comparison to shit on it
Bro you just picked the iPhone 😂
There were so many photos the pixel was way better and even video boost videos were equal or slightly better than the iPhone 😂
Bro, I literally said the video was better with video boost, not slightly 😂🤦🏽♂️
Google pixel 9pro xl best camera
Voice recording sounds better on Google .
DEFINITELY NOT! Lol
0:10 what are you smoking?
Can’t go wrong with either but the 16 Pro Max is still the camera king overall.
Video king not still photography
@@ceasar8679 At this point it’s all subject but the iPhone is more consistent in my opinion.
@@ceasar8679nah man their 24 map automatic mode is just one level above for people who take photography even a lil bit seriously
@@ceasar8679 Nah, the iPhone still has the best pictures in the game. RAW only makes the iPhone better.
It’s a tough choice because I want the best possible performance in both photos and videos on a smartphone. However, everywhere I turn, people keep telling me that the iPhone is the king of video, while the Pixel is the king of photography. It’s frustrating.
Why isn’t there a device that excels at both, outperforming everyone else? It feels like each brand is perfecting only one area, leaving consumers like me having to compromise when what we really want is an all-in-one solution.
What kind of comparison is that? Every youtuber now becoming apple slave
Only because Apple is better.
@@robhughes8516 I'm not a hater, bro. I'm still using 13 pro, and I love this phone. But these youtubers should be more critical. Their 'critical thinking' is already sinking to the bottom. I guess they're too scared to speak against apple.

Once again SuperSaf is more concerned with brand loyalty versus being truthful and ethical. No shame whatsoever.

Extremely biased man. Are u blind

Iphone was shit in front facing cinematic in this example for edge detection but I guess having zero integrity prevents you from pointing that out.
a really biased review....pixel by miles
@@aguchikadaniel1555 It's his opinion. His comparison was fair. Even if it was Android vs Android, I would choose Samsung over Pixel lmao. Pixel will look like a toy phone. But that's my own opinion. Pixel by miles worst than iPhone. Yes I agree. iPhone did a much better job.
Why there is no agent for pixel in dubai ?
I've always enjoyed your videos, Saf. Thanks for all the effort you put into these comparisons.
Much appreciated 👍🏽
How about a camera comparison, that is strictly non default mode. Use all the tools available from the OS’s of 3 or 4 premium smartphone brands. It would be cool to compare all of what is on offer if you tinker with what is available on the device out of the box. Likely some examples from other brands even smartphone camera nerds aren’t fully aware of.
If you’re interested enough to watch all of the smartphone camera comparisons. You’re likely one to tinker with your images with post processing within the OS or manually selecting before.
I really was waiting for this video since video, and really appreciate it , 😍😍 thanks supersaf 🙏
On the night Pixel photos being not as clear why didn't you use the Pixel Night Sight . It's incredible for taking photos at night. My relatives can't believe the photos compared to their iPhones.
All the Pixel night photos were taken with Night Sight
Supersaf style is the Iphone style 😅😅😅😅
The Pixel wins for Front Camera both of photo and Video, Zoom, Nightsight, Astrophotography.
The Iphone wins for video (day & night) Portrait ( edge detection )
But the Pixel Video boost can kill the Iphone easy ❤
True
Main sensor? iPhone is the best.
Pre-ordered P9Pro, tested the camera, found that Live view in Pixel 9 Pro was capped at 30fps, video zoom is very jaggy when switching lenses, my old iPhone 11 Pro is smoother (wayyy). While quality in some parts Pixel 9P is better, bug overall fluidity I can't just justify given P9 Pro price. Ended up returning P9 Pro and now waiting for iPhone 16P.
Proceeds to call him biased to go and be biased yourself, especially since you said pixel has better video when iPhone is undisputed king in video but whatever floats your boat kid
@@Joey4Green yes, but iphone was the king of vedios, now pixel had improved allot ,, even in some areas (camera) pixel 9 beat s24u too , but only in camera pixel shine else it is not enough in any category
Supersaf or MKBHD they're Tim Cook guys!
Google Pixel 9Pro XL ❤❤❤❤❤
😂😂😂
With all the complaints about iPhone (I currently have a Pixel 8 Pro) I really like the photographic styles! I used to say Pixel for pics and iPhone for video. With photographic styles I think iPhone wins in both!
Pixel excels in most pics
I like pixel but there is no agent for pixel in dubai , so if its broken i cant fix it at agent , all my videos on youtube shot by iPhone
0:35 *Iphone is anything but neutral lol. Pixel actually shoots closer to my leica lens.* Also, Pixel kinda demolishes the iPhone in selfies and ultra-wide lens.
And the iPhone demolished the Pixel on all night shots and everything related to video 😉
Main sensor is what I use 90% of the time. iPhone is so much better
@@augustogalindo8687 I don't think so, most reviewers have picked Pixel for night shots. And Pixel in fact beats the iPhone if you use the video boost, especially at night.
You mean the magenta clouds on the Pixel? Certainly not natural

I had the pixel 5 (still use it though). Switched to Iphone PM 15 for the video and log video. Uploading then downloading the video. No thanks.
I think in 2024 all phones should just be really good. I am someone that has a pixel 8 pro and i love it. My brother has a iPhone 15 pro max and his pictures also look great. I have never owned an iPhone so i dont have that experience but i feel i been taking great photos since my moto x on Android.
Your camera comparison is so confusing especially about the pixel, I understand you're an apple fanboy which is expected.
Overall, pixel camera is far better than iPhone especially in photos. With the video boast pixel is the overall King 👑
Finally I've been waiting for this video 😅
I've been waiting for your video to get an honest preference
The comparison we're actually needing is iPhone 16 Pro Max vs iPhone 15 Pro Max 🙏
In a blind test the pixel will win hands down
Because most people likes unnatural boosted pictures
Good for blind people 😉
@@mauricedicke9527 isn't that the point you chose the better-looking picture, not the ugliest.
No. Panorama comparison that figures because it's something that the Pixel would blow the iPhone out of the water with. I promise you if the iPhone's new feature was panoramic mode enhanced. You would have included it.
At the beginning of the video, why is the the iPhone's mic so bad? Is that the noise isolation?
It's using Cinematic audio, which is default when shooting in Cinematic mode
Thank you, hats off to your comparisons. Keep the good game up 🙌
Really impressed,
Saf's reviews are one of the best
Much appreciated!
This would be an interesting comparison in like 6 months, after both cameras have had many updates! Wonder how much would be different. Also has anyone done a camera comparison between two of the same exact phones, just after multiple updates?? Supersaf, that sounds like a good video.
does google cut the edge in the photo? is a bug?
Pixel is miles ahead when it comes to photos ❤
I really want to know what Apple engineers were thinking, like "let's touch the process pipeline to make it worse"
True💯
if you zoom in you can see more stars, stars are brighter on the iphone but I think pixel has SLIGHTLY more stars
3:31 InshALLAH brother keep up the great work ( I have been watching your videos since when you had no beard. :)) 😎😎
Great video SuperSaf🔥 both are great phones and cameras greetings from Scotland✌️
Does it take time to click pictures in flash light
Two Great phones. I agree you cant go wrong with either But Pixel 9Pro XL is just the more interesting phone this year
Very hard to beat the iPhone in photography.
11 years of me staying in Leicester , live next to the space centre i have never actually visted the closest ive been is like asda next to it .. also love Thrapston reservoir
I think iPhone 15 beats pixel, so iphone 16 needs software tweaks
On the first clip, I personally prefer mic recording from the pixel. The iPhone does cancel out the wind, but the voice sounds off and compressed. You can hear the wind in the pixel, but the voice is clear and feels more natural. Second clip the iPhone sounds better
So. I have both. I Found its extremely important to pick your photo style.
i got the 16 pro, natural titanium, 1tb and did an unboxing and set up on my channel. i love this phone!
Definitely not iPhone night I.ages it's turned things green

You're goin in to 100% at 4k. 10% of the PC VIEWERS have 4k monitors, others have 1080p, I don't know why you won't zoom a little bit further...
BTW, why you won't review any Vivo phones? They're incredible...
i used pixel only once , i used iphone when 3g came by first time, then to 4 , 4g, 5, se 6, 7, 8 10 10xr 11 upto 13pro i stopped , now using samsung, i can really tell samsung could be the best, but i will be buying the xl and make the real test, since i will buy it, i am sure i can do the real test and then i can give final opinion about which one is the best.
Its weird to me that the clouds in the "30s" astrophotography picture from the iphone is considerably more blurry than the FOUR MINUTES one from Pixel. i feel like there's something fishy going on here.
If pixel is able to pull out video boost level of quality on device next year, hands down it'll best all the phones for video, including iPhone.
Conclusion:
Best in photos - Pixel 9 Pro XL
Best in video - iPhone 16 Pro Max
iphone way better in both
iPhone wins for photo and videos, just watch again and you'll see
You didn't watch the video did you? iPhone literally won every photo and video scenario.
Get a glasses mate… or tell me what you was watchin? Cause iPhone killed it in almost every category!
iphone better in photos
Thank you for this comparison 🙏
BIASED comparison, you have posted the photos that most favor the iPhone SHAMELESSLY, you only have to look at other RUclips channels and see the positions of both in DxOmark, Pixel seconds and iPhone FOURTH POSITION...I have both devices and I have taken photos and videos with both, with the Pixel at the maximum resolution of its sensors, it is far superior in EVERYTHING, and with video they are on par, except If I use video Boost, the Pixel is much superior at night, and during the day too. I don't use Pro Ress on the iPhone because I don't know how to edit it, like 99% of people, and Google does it for me alone.
It's a shame, isn't it?
So you think videos just as good on pixel? I ask because that’s the only thing holding me back from trying the pixel. From most reviews I have watched the pixel video never seems as smooth or sharp
@@mitchjones55 They're the same, and with Video Boost, they're much, much, much better. It's not worth buying an iPhone just for the video, it used to be, but not anymore.
Both are brilliant but the iPhone still wins overall.
Kind of disappointed. Remember when the Pixel used to be the king of smartphone cameras. The iPhone wins like 80% on this comparison. I believe the Pixel would be far better with the Snapdragon Gen 3 chip. It give S24 Ultra run for its money.
