@@BrosFOURRSpeed Honda's will be in the shop more often with recalls and repairs. I have a 2022 Toyota Corolla SE. I haven't been to the dealership since 2021 when I bought my car
We shopped them in 2022. Wife wanted the Civic sport touring. 1.5T. it's really nice. She loves it. A few months ago I replaced my car. I got a Camry SE. We are now a bisedaniel family.
I agree with you and would pick the Civic due to it's bigger size, more passenger space, more cargo space, and nicer & more premium interior. Plus, the 2025 Honda Civic Sport comes standard with blind spot monitoring while the 2025 Toyota Corolla LE/SE does not come standard with it. You have to pay an extra 2k for a package. Furthermore, here in Texas, finding a new Corolla LE/SE with the aforementioned package is very very difficult, you have to go out of state to get one. So Civic is an easy win for me!
I was looking at a 2017 to 2020 civic or a Corolla hatch. And went with the civic mainly because having that extra space is great for when I camp and go on trips. But I love the look of the Corollas
I like the extra storage at the front of the center console that the Civic has. OTOH, I like the more conventional design of the dash on the passenger side of the Corolla.
I like the Honda and that’s coming from a Toyota guy. I for some reason thought Honda went full forced induction, glad they still put out naturally aspirated.
I have a 2024 Corolla xse sedan nonhatch and I love it the new 2.0 engine is actually super fun coming from an is200t turbo inline 2.0 4 cylinder it feels almost the same minus like 50 hp the cvt is super responsive and I beat on it roll racing anything an everything that wants too. From a dig it gets up with stangs . But tbh I gotta say it’s really good but u gotta definitely make sure to change suspensions lower it etc. the xse I have gives everything you need and wider or as wide as tires than the brz frs and 86. So in corners it really eats but straight line your gonna be slamming it and losing the fun after 80 mph. The car loves 35 rolls or 40 rolls but 60 rolls ur not gonna win but you won’t be gapped by regular traffic
I agree with people taking the civic because I got really lucky when getting my xse you will rarely find one at a dealer new nonused so it’s a gem that I wanted it doesn’t feel like normal traffic at all neither does it look like it. I can’t say the same about civic almost everyone got one I rarely see an xse sedan in the night grey color I have. Also xse has paddle shifters and a soft limiter so at a light I’ll slam on it and bounce the rev limiter… the other cars will stare fr cause it genuinely sounds nice and not rice so if u want something that’ll turn heads give smiles and won’t die on you go with Toyota xse only if it’s a se or lower go with civics
Both of these are close enough in price to a base model Prius or Camry (around 28.5k if I recall) that I would consider those cars instead. Plus mpg would go way up.
Toyota Corolla all the way. 4:27 Honda's will be in the shop more often with recalls and repairs. I have a 2022 Toyota Corolla SE. I haven't been to the dealership since 2021 when I bought my car

If you can help me out with any car that is affordable to maintain and fuel efficient, it would mean the world to me. I'm from Nigeria, and I hope you see this comment. Thank you!
Glad you like the videos! Should be some good used car dealers you can check out. Civic and Corolla would probably be your best bet for affordability and reliability
I am in between buying the corolla se hybrid and the civic sport. Hope to go test drive both this weekend. Transmission went out in my only car this past week. Tired of having unreliable vehicles. I believe honda has the better warranty as well
Corolla looks way nicer with its More stylish front and led lights. Civic looks alright on the outside but not as modern looking as the corolla on the outside tho
The Civic for 2025 has a Atkinson 4 cylinder base engine. No VTEC. The Civic looks better, but the Corolla has port and direct injection. The Civic hybrid is better 200 hp vs 138.

Honda Civic has all those things too tho. Plus it's more roomy. Both are very similar overall
Hmmmm you may not be update to date but the Civic matches that as well in 2025
So as hondas .
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Honda's will be in the shop more often with recalls and repairs. I have a 2022 Toyota Corolla SE. I haven't been to the dealership since 2021 when I bought my car
The Corolla has four tire pressure indicators, whereas the Civic only has one. You have to check each tire to see which one is low.
Oh interesting!

All those features are already standard here in Canada since 2019. Side note, more features means more expense down the road.
@@alvinsimba734 They're not standard in the USA sadly

Yeah I think the interior space is what sells me on the Civic. Just feels roomy and comfortable at my highest. Goes a lot way
I just bought a 2025 Honda Civic Sport and I absolutely love it.
Congrats, it's a great car!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed The Corolla has four tire pressure indicators, whereas the Civic only has one. You have to check each tire to see which one is low.
Civic chassis way more sportier with much thicker sway bars and firmer springs
yeah I can see that. Feels a bit more planted of a car

Both good options!

Yeah I think only the si and Type-R are turbo. So either N/A or Hybrid for the rest

Yeah a nice SE Camry even for $32k might be a better choice than these too. I'd at least get the hybrid version to get more power

The CVT is the turn off on both vehicles.
What would you buy instead for the same price?
I would say Mazda 3, it has an automatic transmission, not a CVT.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed a manual transmission

I'd go for the hybrid in either car. Both are great. Civic has a bit more room tho for the interior
The purpose of these cars is reliability, and the Corolla executes that far better.
Both seem pretty good. But Toyota is above Honda currently
Take it out of B mode if you want it to not rev like that. The car revs because it’s trying to engine brake as if you are going down hill.
I don't believe it was in B. In one of my reviews I had it in B for the first 20 seconds. But that was just normal drive from what I remember
This gen civic is just 🤌
It's nice for sure!
Which One is Faster Honda Civic or Toyota Corolla
Pretty much the same. Both are slow economy cars lol. The hybrid version will be a bit more peppy

I’d go Civic
Yeah it has a lot to offer!
Corolla looks way nicer with its

Yeah I can see that a bit. Civic looks a bit nicer sized tho. Corolla is very compact

Both cars in Hybrid form is what I'd go for. I still like the interior and space of the Civic a lot better tho
The Toyota Corolla looks nicer
The Toyota Corolla you can also get in a hatchback I don't know about the Honda
Civic for me
Great option!
No spare tyre or donut is a deal breaker on the civic
Can always get one and replace the inflator kit
Different level of cars.
These are direct competitors and same price
@BrosFOURRSpeed extactly. One subtle the other sporty. At the same price.
If the Corolla is cheaper (it should), it might have a chance
It is…….
Yeah depends on how you spec it. These were almost identical. But the extra space in the Civic is worth a lot to me
Corollas are in lower supply than Civics. Here in Texas, new Corollas are marked up over MSRP while a new Civic can be had for 1k under MSRP
@ this is entirely dependent onlocation of dealership. Please don’t spread unverified information.
The Civic is the better car here. But that doesn’t mean the Corolla is bad. It may just fall to brand loyalty for many buyers.
Yeah I can see that!
