i don't know if you are in competitive rowing as well, but i am and we got some win techs ... and this one looks exactly the same as ours.. so i guess it's a wintech
the width of the hull is no different to other boats. Wintech gave the boats a wider cockpit for comfort which is nice considering im not a pussy and train in bad conditions, so i need room for wellies etc. Also the self bailing system is a very good idea to get rid of water if it even comes over the side because of the shape of the hull being so good means that water rarely comes into the boat.
I know. I'm not stupid it is a hudson. What i'm saying is in reply to everyone slagging off wintechs when they're actually good boats. Seems that not many people like what I said, but probably because they all know that it's true.

Even if Wintech's were shit, put Mahe Drysdale in one and he'd kick anyone's arse. It's not about the boat, it's about the rower, and to be honest, I'm pretty sure at everyone here's level, nobody deserves to be rowing in a 7k boat.
