That was the most entertaining Superbowl in like forever. 41-33 boy I was on the edge of my seat for 4 hours. That wheel route to Corey Clements to this day is still one of the most beautiful throw and catch the Eagles ever had.

Agreed. Philly special was great but not the best play. The touchdown pass to Alshon Jeffrey. The Ertz dive into the end zone. Nelson agoholor had some amazing screen passes. Corey clement and Lagerrette Blount running all over the place…

Tom Brady played probably the best game of his career and the Patriots offense took no punts the entire game... and lost. That's how great of a game BDN played. Retire #9

He played the best ball of his life in that game. He delivered, and on that day he was the best dam player on the field.

Nick was the best player on the field on either side of the ball. For that conference championship and superbowl. Truly legendary perfmances.
He really was in some super human state there.

That makes perfect sense if you don't look at the score and you don't look at the game clock and you try to execute the play that was called or what your job is on each play you're not going to worry about the ups and downs of the game you're just going to be efficient I really like that mindset especially in big pressure situations

Foles with some sage advice here, keep your foot on the MF'n GAS. Don't change who you are, play each down like it's the most important and execute. ICONIC moment in football with the Philly Special, but the analysis on the Clement throw is awesome. He was so locked in, he instinctually threw that TD on a string without even a second thought. Incredible stuff. So thankful to have seen this game with my own two eyes, one of my favorite moments in Philadelphia Eagles History. 💚🦅

I'll never forgive Chip for taking him out of that Oakland game in the 3rd quarter with 7 touchdowns. Didn't even give him a chance to break the record.

i knew from the first time i saw Nick play in a regular season game he was going to be a very good starter in the NFL...he was a rookie, we were playing the cowboys and he looked poised, and in control. a poised rookie in a division game. i was blown away.

His number not only deserves to be retired but SHOULD BE retired. He got us our first Lombardi trophy. He’s our ONE AND ONLY Super Bowl MVP.

I'd love to see that happen but it's extremely rare Eagles brass retires a number. Reason is that they carry 70 players during the season including PS guys and they'd quickly run out of numbers.

The beer commercials at the time had this king that would express his pleasure with people who brought beer to the party but saying "Dilly Dilly!" I always thought that was where "You want Philly Philly?" Came from.

the fact that the touchdown to ertz had to be reviewed so much really tells you how much the NFL wanted tommy boy to win. ertz caught the ball, ran into the end zone while he held the ball securely in his hands. AS SOON as the ball crossed the goal line it was 6 points. period. the NFL has lost its mind as far as defining a catch.
the ball can be in a players hands, but if it moves or if he adjusts the ball then he didnt complete the catch? wtf? THE BALL IS IN HIS FUCKING HANDS!!!!!!! that is the very definition of a completed catch. if it hits the ground then he DIDNT catch it. pretty fucking simple!! its not rocket science ....whos coming up with these stupid fucking rules??
