Great video, thanks! Lived all parts of San Diego from 1979 to 1996, and go back every year. It is forever changing. It is forever beautiful.. Love your sweet baby.... made me smile!
Thanks for showing us what it actually takes to get to the border wall. I was so curious. I wish people could go right up to the wall and say hello. Seems like there's lots of folks gathering on the Tijuana side.
I WAS OUT THERE IN 1990, WAY BEFORE THERE WAS A BORDER WALL IN THE SAND AND WATER. I WOULD LOVE TO GET BACK OUT THERE AND SEE THE BEACH AND TOWN AGAIN BUT I LIVE IN NORTH CAROLINA AND ITS SO FAR AND EXPENSIVE TO GET OUT THERE WHEN YOU FIGURE HOUSING IN A MOTEL WHICH I AM SURE IS QUITE HIGH OUT THERE.
@@CesarCinema Not sure. Would like to right now, We are having a major heat wave up here. IB has always had the best(year round)weather. We moved away from IB to Valley Center in 1988. VC would make a good video. Take care
I was just at IB pier today and wanted to do the same. For some reason I thought I could jog the beach and make it. But saw you have to drive.. and google maps said 30 minute drive for me too. Was it worth it or no? I feel kinda weird at the fence. Like .. idk.
Haha I think all San Diegans think that you can just walk up on it. It’s definitely a must see at least one time. I prolly wouldn’t go again or any time soon. It’s cool to see what divides two countries at the beach. It is a lil walk though and watch out for bobcats lol.
I visited there back in 1990 and the border was separated by a canal that did not look very wide, and did not look hard to cross, I thought about it but there was border patrol vehicle's ON the beach so I decided not to, I DAM sure would not try it today in 2018. And I live in north Carolina
@@CesarCinema I was just visiting, I went with an acquaintance who was from Texas who was attending a locksmith convention in a hotel in San Diego and we visited imperial beach cause I was curious to what separated America from Mexico on the water and from what I gathered and this was back in 1990. It appeared to be a channel that was maybe 30 ft wide ON the side I was standing on and there was border patrol vehicle's ON the other side, about 2 maybe 3 vehicle's and we just stopped and walked the direction we came from.
I tried walking down the beach from the pier to the border. But there was a canal that I didn't want to walk through. The border itself was just a little farther down. You can check Google earth and you will see that canal thing. I wonder when the wall itself was built though

Amazing sunset in the limit border of two great cities!!
Yes it was! Good times and I’m glad we made it back home safe lol. 🐯
Isn't there a parking lot at the international friendship park? Or is the state park parking(where you parked) lot only available parking lot?
Enjoyed your video Caesar Cinema! Live few miles away from this so cool to see it up close.
I’m glad you enjoyed it! I’m going to try to make a video in Playas De Tijuana soon right on the other side of the fence.

Reminds me of my Sandiego trip I went on just a month before you did! Great beach. :)
Cool. Did you vlog it?
Thanks for the video. My wife and I grew up in IB. Been living in Boise Idaho since 2012.
You’re welcome. Nice. When are you coming back to visit?

Yup. No problem. Thanks for watching.

Nice! Time flys right? Thanks for sharing. Did you live in San Diego or were you just visiting?

Wow. Things have changed. They put up barbwire 2 days after I went so it looks a little different now.

Is it allowed to get closer and talk to the people from the other side??
No. They have a line that is clearly marked that you can’t pass. You might be able to have a real loud conversation but that’s about it lol.
I’ll be there tomorrow I’m so exited I go every year
Cool. How’d it go?
Nice video... surprised you didn’t catch the caravan
I know! This video was 2 days before the caravan.
used to live there! i miss it
How long ago? How much has it changed?
Thumbs up for the smoking hot wife.
Where is the pollution from the neighbors
You forgot to mention the constant smell of raw sewage and all of the insane homeless people living on the beach
