Thank you so much for this video! I’m wanting to switch but I hate change and I’ve been using my 5diii since it was released over a decade ago! I’m so glad you shared tips to make it more like the 5diii because that’s exactly what I’m wanting!
So helpful! I jumped in with the R6 last November and I still feel like the focus is clunky and I miss being able to toggle for exact focus. This tutorial is great and hopefully I can get it to be less clunky for me!
Hi Hope, I'm just curious as to why you don't use the eye autofocus? It seems that it would be spot on for taking sharp images because we want to focus on the eyes. Thanks
@@HopeTaylor I'm not a fan of it either. It's definitely necessary with AI servo for walking towards the camera photos, but after those, I turn it back to 1 point. I shot a wedding with it and I ended up missing focus on a lot of things. I am also HATING the color difference from my M3. *cries*

I'm SO glad you found it helpful, Lindsay! Thanks so much for watching!
Thank you sorry much! I switched and haven’t loved it! I felt my in session workflow was clunky. I think these changes will help!
I'm SO glad! Thank you for tuning in!
I appreciate this video so much because I have not made the change from my mark iv to the r6 because of the color difference I keep hearing about !
I'm so glad it was helpful! Thank you for tuning in!!!
Helpful.. I'm looking to add the R6 to my kit hopefully soon and use it with the MKIII for weddings.
Amazing! I'm so glad it was helpful! Thank you for tuning in!
That’s really great info thank you! I might finally get the mirrorless now!
You're welcome! I'm so glad it was helpful!
I have found that using the camera matching Color Profiles in Lightroom really makes my images look much better.

This is totally just personal preference - I haven't gotten a chance to test out the eye autofocus just yet! But will circle back when I do :)

Can you share what focus settings you used before on the Mark III?
how do you change the color profile to auto?
