    +20 -10 sounded the best to me. Thanks for the review, I going to get this kit to help me record better audio for my videos. I'll be using this Rode with my a6300

      It's going to be a bit different on all brands because of their individual internal noise, so be sure to do the tests yourself once you get it. I'm still loving the microphone thinking about getting a second one too. I noticed yesterday it went on sale on amazon, at least for the moment. I just created an Amazon Associate Account this week. Would super appreciate you buying through my link if you think you're going to make the move on it. Thanks for watching! amzn.to/2KHMmhX

    is it possible to connect 2 transmitters to 1 receiver? one connects and the other doesn't... but pressing CH on the receiver switches to the other one but then again the other one is not on. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. if anyone has a video on how to do it please provide the link. Rode Filmmaker kit

    So helpful thank you! Question about pairing. After we pair, we find that the channel disappears so it's hard to tell if it's still synced or if it's broken the connection. Is this normal?

    Hi, Congrats! very nice video, I have a question for you , I Have a camcorder Pansonic HC-V770 do you think a can use rodelink wireless filmmaker for my VideoCamera? should i do some setup in videocamera? Thank You so much and keep going

    • @HierFilms
      @HierFilms  6 лет назад

      According to B&H website that model camera does have a 3.5mm audio input which would allow you to hook up the microphone pack with that camera. I've used this with other Panasonic camcorders and it works great, though I'd encourage to go through the same test as I do with the audio setting on the back of the packs to make sure you're getting the best sound. You may consider getting something like an L-Shape Bracket Holder with Hot Shoe, as I don't believe that camera has a hot shoe mount, which allows you can mount the pack directly to your camera to make it easy to move around with.

    Looks good. So, what do you think? Sennheiser G3 or spend the extra $100 on the Rodelink?

    • @HierFilms
      @HierFilms  6 лет назад +1

      The RodeLink is actually $200 cheaper than the G3. Definitely the RodeLink!

    Excellent video, mate! Saved it to watch later again haha. Just a question: I have my first wedding in 3 weeks and I'm really new to audio stuff. So I watched some videos about it and bought yesterday one RodeLink Wireless Filmmaker Kit along with one Zoom h5. People were saying that the signal was much better if you attach the RoseLink with the Zoom h5. My question would be: Do you think that it does make any different? Don't know if you ever tried using the RodeLink with some audio device. I'm also trying to sort it out if I should config the Zoom h5 or not as the db's are set up on the RodeLink and the Zoom h5 is just a "bridge" between the RodeLink receiver and my GH5. Any clue? Cheers mate!

    • @HierFilms
      @HierFilms  5 лет назад +1

      Thanks man. I've used the RodeLink and H5 together and it works just fine. I can't say you get notably better audio by doing so, especially for the purpose of weddings. I've never been disappointed with the RodeLink straight to the GH5 or GH5s. You can also "bridge" the H5 to your GH5 and plug the RodeLink into the H5, though that's a heavy and complicated camera setup.. It just depends on how you plan on filming the wedding. You could set the H5 off to the side on a tripod with the rodelink RX plugged into it recording both ambience room audio and also recording the wireless lav, while you then can run and gun with a VideoMic Pro+ on your GH5 for high quality back up audio. Always pretest whatever setup you plan to go with in real life ahead of time. There's nothing worst then not doing a mock setup and testing out things so you don't screw yourself in post make sure your settings sync correctly if you are recording externally.

      Hier Films that was really really helpful mate! Much appreciated it! If not ask to much would you tell me if there was any special config on the h5? Cheers mate and have a great one! Subbed, by the way :)

    Dont BUY the RODElink Wireless or else your gonna regret it. INTERFERENCE PROBLEM.

    • @HierFilms
      @HierFilms  5 лет назад

      I’ve used them in some really terrible situations regarding frequency interference, and I haven’t had any significant issues. If you’re looking to throw long distances say over 100 feet reliably I’d look for a higher end solution, but for the price you can’t beat these. My two cents..
