    Midwife here --
    Congratulations!!!
And I am so so happy to FINALLY see a momma delivering on an upright position, without pain killers and many interventions!! That is so beautiful and an experience you will never regret to have had!! You did everything just perfectly: being upright, pushing when you felt like you needed to and not when somebody told you to, and listening to your own body helped you so much.
Beautifully done, Emma!! You can be so proud❤

Thank you so much for the beautiful compliment ❣️ I had a much easier time delivering this baby versus my first who I delivered lying on my back!

@@emmacolethat is awesome to hear!! I am from Germany and feel like especially in the U.S. there are still so many wrong information and beliefs, that women have to deliver on their backs, which leads to immobility and A LOT of other disadvantages. Also they are often times being forced to push even when they are not ready or have to wait for some doctor even though they want to push.
      It's horrible!!
I think it is incredibly important to speak up and explain how modern obstetrics has a strong probability for a horrible birth experience and keeps from beautiful and calm births, like you had. -- so that other women can learn for their births and speak up over what they want and don't want.

@@jule3438 yes I absolutely agree! Child birth had such negative reputation here - I wish it were different. During my first pregnancy I was so anxious for labour and delivery to entire 9 months, with this pregnancy I was genuinely excited for labour and delivery because I knew how it could be such a positive experience! I hope this video can help show other women labour and delivery can be beautiful and calm and a wonderful memory of bringing your baby into the world!

I am a mom of 15 yup that’s right a mom of 15 but you sweet girl you were amazingly calm and had that baby in the most precious way. I have never in my life of being a mom and a grandma ever seen a more in control momma girl you are a warrior. Very fast but still in so much control. And DAD YOU WERE AMAZING I loved seeing how much you love you wife and how dedicated you are as husband and father. You are all very fortunate. Congratulations and way to go

Here in Jamaica once your seeing signs of labor and go immediately to the hospital and get registered in that’s it the process starts we don’t wait on a specific cm ( 3/4/5/ ) cm doesn’t matter from there is signs of labor your bed is set and ready to go
