eJPT is a good introduction
Hello sir, my name is Emmanuel, and I'm a cybersecurity professional based in Nigeria. I'm seeking advice on remote job hunting. I currently hold Google Cyber Security and Microsoft Cyber Security certifications, and I'm planning to obtain the CompTIA Security+ certification next month to enhance my job prospects, as many employers require it. Besides my certification pursuits, I'm actively engaged in learning, teaching, and bug hunting programs. I would greatly appreciate any guidance or advice you can offer regarding remote job hunting from Africa.
follow the recommendations in this video, they’re better than multiple choice stuff
@@UnixGuy but job markets list mostly OSCP and Security+

@@UnixGuy Thx really Unix for your help I discovered your channel before 2 months and you I got from more cybersecurity information than in my first year in bachelor which is really sad
I recently graduated from Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering, and 1 week ago I took admission in Master of Technology in Cyber Forensics and Information Security. Now the main point is that my college has a partnership with the EC Council. So they can provide me the CEH certification exam voucher at a price of Rs. 13000 (approx. $155). So my question is, should I purchase the voucher now or should I practice the TryHackMe courses first? I am really novice in the cyber security field.
in the video I talked about CEH… stick to whats in the video
@@UnixGuyokay sir. Thank you.
Thanks 🎉

Why there are very few jobs for pentesters?
it’s just the nature of business, there will always be more need for defensive people, thats why I recommend becomig a generalist and add pentesting as a skill:

@UnixGuy so after OSCP can we switch to defense as they always need experience and not easy to get into industry
@@singhgagandeep955 you don’t need to ‘switch’, you need to be applying to jobs to gain experience - take what you can get… watch this video till the end please:

@UnixGuy okay thank you
Hey guys,
Anyone say about junior cyber security analyst by cisco does it worth?
To learn basic knowledge yes, currently going through it and it's too focused on networking. Little hands on experience compared to hack the box
But in cisco there is no practical lab access compared to other certs . That's why I am thinking to start
it is fine but my recommendation is to follow this:

Thanks for your reply sir I just follow your map
What about pnpt
if you watched the video that you’re commenting on you would know….
Can we get a job by following this roadmap as penetration tester
yes! but also watch my other videos to understand the process more
Thank you sharing this knowledge. It's really meaningful and important to be able to access to an industry professional's views and recommendations. I am really benefiting from both you and an another youtuber called MYDFIR.

@@UnixGuy afcause.. Why not.. Its ridiculous
@UnixGuy these are not certifications, and if you are like me from small tcn county no way to get job
yeah smaller market will limit your choices but from what you say then best not to do anything and just give up and do something else because no one ever gets any job?
Can someone recommended sites for practical challenges, where we can test our knowledge and also, which can be valuable for our resume.
follow whats in the video….
@UnixGuy it's like they didn't watch it..
🤦
Man, he must REALLY hate SANS courses. Lol
Do I now 🤣 I’ve got GCIA(expired), GCFA, GPEN and GSTRT…
You must not know how much Sans courses cost 😂

Would you take Tcm-security's PNPT or CPTS first? After finish the tryhackme Red Team Paths
CPTS is extremely comprehensive as it is, I would do it after tryhackme and i would skip PNPT in this case :)
