If Manie can kick 80%+ in next year's URC,he walks into the Bok team. Now we could see just how far behind Pollard is Ito creative play. However, the Springbok no.10 jersey belongs to Sasha FM.

I don't agree that we cannot get anything out of this game and yes the first half wasn't THE best but we come back in the second half-How surprised are we? This was a great display of our depth, like how the Irish discovered Frawley... we are on track, don't be so negative Jordan, it was fantastic to see our boys just play. Yeah Jordan, I think you are being too harsh here and maybe missing the point of this intro into test rugby for a number of young and talented players, guys that are going to be the next generation of players. This drip feed into the world of rugby is exactly what is needed and it allows for skills development but more importantly it allows the players to find their way without too much early pressure (think Gaffie du Toit in NZ under nick mallet).

I don’t think you could have expected a clinical dominating performance from the Boks with such a new team and a lot of them starting for the first time. Whilst Manie’s general play is good it’s time to put him to the sideline. As a fly half you need to be able to kick. And he can’t. Unfortunate but true. You can’t keep on supporting a player that is not delivering and not putting points on the board. Roos was also disappointing.

@ethancroft5512 be careful of that "Double world cup winning" leg you keep standing on. World cup winning Mapimpi got rightfully replaced by a better winger, who then also became a world cup winner. If there is someone better he must play, no matter how many world cups you've won.

I gotta disagree with the "it's just Portugal" attitude. Their running rugby is impressive and their cross field kicks were clinical and really tested the Bok defense. For the new players in green and gold, it is a great way to test your work rate (which is a definite improvement point) and you need to be creative in attack because we couldn't out run the Porras. Great game, regardless of the score I liked the second half attitude of the Boks and the never-say-die attitude of Portugal 🔥

I was begging min 20 for manie to go off. I was such a fan as a shark supporter he is just not what he use to be. Everyone said the sharks broke Manie but then if you look at him playing for the stormer nothing have changed.
Sacha bought the 10 jersey Pollard gonna have to adjust to new attacking game or Sacha will over lap him very soon. Roos is still a very selfish player nothing changed there. Moraat is why to boring to be a bok he aint Eben or enforcer that we need. RG did all of that and more hell he took on 5 players and i still think he would have won that battle. Louw stepped up BJD stepped up massively. Krappies what a player. Pepshi my sharkie my man stunning wish he could have had a full game. Tank, Grobbies and Wessels did good showed their worth. Both venter's did great Mchunu did good.
Hats of to Am covering 2 positions scored a try he is back and made an impact. KLA work horse. Mapimpi he might be knocking on the to old door but he was on fire. Fassi running attacking play again plenty of support and assistance. Horn i cant say much about except his try after that he got carded.
All and all 10 tries good day at the office 20min 13 players on the pitch and still scored tries and that os why we can do 6-2 & 7-1. Was proven last night

Tim from Eggchasers shows clear bias to South Africa and his comments are purely for subs.
I find it sad that some can’t handle honesty and criticism of their own team. Every team makes errors of which they learn from.
Kudos to Jordan Buhrs for actually reviewing the test

If Portugal can manage to score 3 tries so easily then what will the ABs do.

    Completely unacceptable performance 😔👎.
    No accuracy, bad discipline...
Only RG, Sascha, Grobler, Arendse , Ben showed their talent....
    Mediocrity should not be celebrated...
SaSchools are average, U20 absolutely below par, boks dnt have BMT, no killer instinct, we cannot think we are no 1 - when we occasionally perform .... World cups aside we are very very inconsistent, ill disciplined and mediocre...
