Wow. You seem like the perfect wedding planner! Definitely more of my type than the outdoorsy style of weddings. I really love the interior decoration of the reception area.
Although I’m not based in Nevada, I am planning on having a destination wedding in California, God willing. Ok so I just found your channel and basically binged all the videos. You are fantastic :) This video I rewinded a few times, I have a question which is really not that important but drives me crazy because I don't see it: So covering the white carpet with plastic... did you take the plastic off after the set up, or how did that work for the guests? I'm assuming the plastic was not the last finish? Congrats this is a beautiful piece. :)
Yes, we put plastic down to cover the white carpet while we worked. Then we pulled it off before guests came in.

as a wedding planner do you have to search for people to do services as caters, carpenters, where to buy decorations from, and areas/venues? or does the client give you a list of people that she’s interested in? If so does the client give you this budget and you find people based off what you have to spend?
I am always in forever researching the industry and trying to get to know other vendors and partners. A client may have a photographer or a videographer that they are interested in, but in terms of production, I really control that process and manage it very carefully. I only work with people who can produce at my level, and so I don't necessarily trust a business that I haven't vetted personally.

Yes, they do. Clients reimburse for all expenses, or they arrange the travel for me.

Is there any difference between event manager and event planner?
I think it could be semantics. When I hear "event manager" I think operations and venue. When I hear "event planner" I think independent planner and designer working with the clients directly on the pre-event checklist.

Imagine if just a mere ten percent of all the time, money, effort, and energy spent on events like this went to ending world poverty, improving education, eliminating domestic abuse or preserving and expanding women's rights worldwide, the world would be exponentially better. Imagine bending the will of the universe to that vision instead of chasing Socrates' shadows on the cave wall of social media and just be present in the simplicity and grace of the universe. Wow
Don’t watch if that’s how you feel
Imagine using the time you spent watching this, and the additional time you spent commenting on learning how to make enough money to end world poverty, to improve education etc. I think you'd have done it all on your own. 🤣. Trust me people are doing more than you think. That they spend money on themselves doesn't mean they don't care about others. So don't be too naive.
Why would anyone want there wedding day pictures BEFORE the wedding 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ when you look at them they don’t say my wedding
We did a bridal fashion shoot before the wedding for a few reasons...1.) it gave us the ability to do a full dress rehearsal and see the hair, make up, jewelry, and styling in advance to make sure that she was absolutely perfect before the wedding day and 2.) to get very high fashion bridal photos and portraits that we would not have time to take on the wedding day and 3.). to get the bride more comfortable in front of the photographer - it’s awkward to have someone taking your photo for 8-12 hours. And lastly...4.) because we could! And why not have another day of gorgeous couture and fun?! 😍
