@@crishnaholmes7730 I got my first job at 15. I was hired to welcome people to a wedding tradeshow and answer questions while they looked around at different vendors. By 17, I was working full-time in a restaurant as a hostess that helped arrange the large parties and banquet dinners. I continued my career in hospitality as a manager, and Director, opening up, restaurants, hotels, and nightlife facilities. I also interned with florists, photographers, and video teams, until I felt ready to open my business in 2011.

Andrea! Thank you so much for this video! You are My inspiration in the Wedding Industry! I am only starting my "Wedding Planner Adventure" after working for 6 years in hotel and restaurant industry. Honestly the level of making weddings in Poland (where I actually live) is much more lower than in USA or even Ukraine(where I am from) or Russia. I really want to raise up this industry and make weddings so everyone admire them. I would like to know how to start working with the client for the first time when in fact my experience is small. If you could make a small video or give some other information I would appreciate it so much!

Not at all! I always wear a dress, a suit, or dress pants and a blouse. How you see me online is how I look for my clients. I do my hair and make up every day - Just in case!

How many times should you meet your client as wedding planner before the wedding pls ? Once a week twice or ?
I meet with my clients as often as needed. Some clients I speak to weekly, some I see every month - They are all different. You do what you need to do to get the job done correctly! xo

I want to intern but the people I have contacted once I mention that I want to learn so I can open my own venue they decline
Many businesses cannot accept interns unless the intern is currently enrolled in a program through a university. You should apply with a local planner and ask your school to assist you in finding a team to work with.
