Hi Randy! Thanks for sharing more of the work you do! I'm looking at those composite siding shingles, asbestos is no joke. Ah, you mentioned that potential risk. Good advice watching out so you don't get surprised by a hobo (';')... ( ';')... interesting as always, stay warm ;)

Rooster I agree with you about the homeless it’s so sad but for eight years we took in about 100 people and I was zero for 100 to keep them off the street we fed them clean them up give them a nice bed to sleep in it was a Christian ministry outreach but I lived there with my family and we could not keep any of them off the street they all went back

No surprise there Ray. I've employed a few over the years. They'll do good for a while but eventually turn back to old ways. I can only pray that later in life they get it right and that maybe something we did or said to them planted a seed that reaps an eternal benefit for them.

Binge back watching & I'm glad you're telling how it is with the homeless. I've had well meaning friends who took ppl in & it didn't end well for the kindness they offered. I tell everybody you're not qualified & have no recognised & accredited system to deal with these ppl. I don't have any ill will towards them but I don't give them opportunity either.

Once I lived in a smallish town in Virginia. We had one homeless man. Nice man, never gave anyone any trouble. Slept many times in the town's newspaper recycle bin. When he died in the early 90's it was found he had over a quarter million dollars in the bank.

Islam is an arabic word that means Submission or Surrender to God the One and Only, your Creator, Protector, Provider, who gives you life and all that you have, you are safe and sound by his will and grace, you are His and to Him you return, you have to thank him by submitting to him by your free will or later when it's too late to save your own skin. Islam was the original Religion descended to earth from heaven with Adam and Eve (peace and blessing be upon them) in the beginning of humanity. and was passed to people with the succession of the 124,000 prophets and 315 messengers of God to all nations and civilizations since, passing by Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Ismaël, Joseph, Moses, Aaron, Joshua, David, Solomon and Jesus (Peace and blessing be upon them) during the history of mankind, the last replaces the previous, until the succession of the last messenger of God fourteen centuries ago, Muhammad (Peace and blessing be upon him) to complete the noble morals of all mankind, to bring humans and jinns out of darkness into light, and to purify people's religion and belief from corruption and polytheism to purity and true monotheism.
Many Religions that we know, at their beginning were true and under Islam, initiated by one of the prophets of God, but with the time, their original teachings and scriptures were corrupted with polytheism or lost and replaced with false ones. That's why Islam is the only Religion accepted by God nowadays. Which consists in bearing witness that there is no god besides Allah, and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger.
Allah means the only and one God, the God of all prophets, the creator of the universe and mankind, and the Master of the Day of judgement, where our destiny, Hell or Paradise, is decided based on our faith and deeds in this life and above all, Allah's mercy.
Allah the Most Merciful said in Surah Ali-Imran :
19 Behold, the only [true] religion in the sight of God is [man's] self-surrender unto Him; and those who were vouchsafed revelation aforetime took, out of mutual jealousy, to divergent views [on this point] only after knowledge [thereof] had come unto them. But as for him who denies the truth of God's messages - behold, God is swift in reckoning!
20 Thus, [O Prophet,] if they argue with thee, say, "I have surrendered my whole being unto God, and [so have] all who follow me!" - and ask those who have been vouchsafed revelation aforetime, as well as all unlettered people, "Have you [too] surrendered yourselves unto Him?" And if they surrender themselves unto Him, they are on the right path; but if they turn away - behold, thy duty is no more than to deliver the message: for God sees all that is in [the hearts of] His creatures.
21 Verily, as for those who deny the truth of God's messages, and slay the prophets against all right, and slay people who enjoin equity - announce unto them a grievous chastisement.
22 It is they whose works shall come to nought both in this world and in the life to come; and they shall have none to succour them.

Always exercise all your freedoms at all times! Once upon a time back when I was a kid there was this lovely; yet, sadly dilapidated, home back in the woods. Near by a farmer kept bees, but years before this time that farmer has moved away; however, in this massive attic of that abandoned house was nothing but giant beehive. I was amazed how we did not notice all the bees at first. Then we got up in the attic and finally noticed that the entirety of the roof and walls, and probably inside the ceiling, was nothing but bees and honey, tons of it, just oozing. It was an amazing site, and we after admiring it we left and did not go back. Later on that place was torn down. I hope the bees were okay. Bees are awesome.

I appreciate your comments on the homeless situation. So many folks are afraid to say how it really is. One thing about the city and the homeless. It’s an expensive problem so they pretend they can’t see it. But the middle class is their base source of income. If they can penalize you they will. Most of us are trying to do the right thing so they threaten penalties and count on you doing the right thing…it’s just a bit north of evil. But their hearts are deep dark holes.

You do realize that many who end up homeless aren't homeless by their choice. Usually they've been screwed over in some way and are dealing with the consequences of the choices others have made. For example, my friend never missed paying rent nor did she ever have a late payment in the entire six years she was renting. The owner evicted her, giving her only two weeks to find a new place. She had also just paid 750 dollars in rent and wouldn't get her paycheck again until after the deadline. She is now left living in her car or wherever else she can shelter until she can save up about 4000 dollars for somewhere to live, which will take her a few months. "Tough love" isn't going to help her, it'll just make things worse for her, like the cities deciding to hide the homeless problem by making life harder for the homeless. There are homeless shelters that charge people in need money to stay for the night, which is why people are staying other places.

    • @628DirtRooster
      @628DirtRooster  2 года назад +4

@@tsulehisanvhisystem9352 Those you speak of are few and far between. As someone who manages a large number of rental homes in a state that gives landlords the upper hand when evicting someone I can say with a fair amount of certainty that your friend hasn't given you the whole story. Even in our state it takes a minimum of two and a half to three weeks to evict someone for non payment. No judge is going to allow an eviction without cause and if she had paid her rent and were evicted for other reasons the only reason the judge would allow the landlord to keep that money would be for some type of settlement for damages. Also if she's able to find accommodations for $750 per month she would be able to move in to a new place for less than $2,000 including deposits and turning on utilities.

Regular life has requirements and requirements feel like pressure to overwhelmed people. Some can’t even think in order to answer a question without getting stressed out. Alcohol and drugs are stress medicine. Stressed people can’t resist them once they try them. Its hard to fix them in a stress saturated world, and it just keep getting worse.

A good friend's brother was a very strong football player and went on to represent Australia in international Rugby League. Anyway, as an 18 year old he was play 1st grade footy for our local team, his Mother was walking the sidelines as usual when an opposing player tackled the son high and knocked him out. Well Mother screamed, ran onto the field and knocked the opposing player out, clean hit, yelling "You wanna take my son on? Well do it face to face next time!" Poor old Steve (the son), never lived that down, even at international level. 🤣🤣🤣.

If they get to stay 24 hours they have legal protection and cant be moved without finding them alternative accommodation. With political encouragement they turn very violent when trying to move them off.

That looks like non-friable asbestos cladding, judging from the way it breaks. Closer to asbestos brake pad material than the fibrous kind that makes the dust. Not an inhalation hazard, pretty safe to handle, and still useful and used for some applications. I think the reclamation services you mentioned reprocess and recycle it.
