How is this standing without weight of gumpaste pulling it down? Are those two sticks enough? I need to make this figure tomorrow but I'm afraid it will just fall down 😄 Awesome work btw!
@cutthroat cakes I improvised. I made the tail differently, couldn't risk to make it stand up like in this tutorial. It turned out just fine, I'll give you the link

Hi! I’m sorry for the late response. What I use its called model paste, its denser than normal fondant, so it stands right away. I’m also working really fast so the heat of my palms won’t melt the paste. Thanks for passing by!
Hi, i tried making this but if i stand it up the dinosaurs head keeps flopping downwards. Its not hard like yours and I used modelling paste. Can you give me some tips as to where I might be going wrong? Thank you :)
Razia Najeeb try not to over heat the paste (hold too much in your palm) I found out that best temperature for the paste should be colder than your palms. Also you can leave the head to rest for 15’ then put it together, maybe start with the head then do the body :)

I think it’s modeling chocolate rather than sugar paste, if in uk like me you’ll struggle to find it unfortunately 😞 xx
