having those huge seeders in that field makes so much more sense than in fs19, ravenport and felsbrunn has very few huge arable fields so i'm really hoping that they bring in a map thats much bigger or at least has more large arable fields..
@Tsunauticus III I have a few Facebook friends who live in Africa and it's become accustomed for me to add the country as well. Very few Africans know about world geography. I love culture. As a farmer myself, 1,200 acres of tomatoes, I love entertaining/educating myself with what others are doing on this planet. Take care.

yeah i was driving the other boom sprayer that day.... hanging out in the background at 3:58. it was a mix of triflurilin, an insecticide, either round up or paraquat and another pre emergent spray
Vic Lemaitre it's a min till planter I know, but the field before planting has no stubble or trash on it, did they leave it fallow for a year or how does all the stubble disappear from time of harvest till planting?

So the paddock with the JD was last years pasture paddock. In this region the term "pasture" pretty much means non cropped and whatever grows is used for sheep to graze. Usually the paddocks for pasture are cropped only every second year. With good management there will be lots of clover popping up.... so in short, the paddocks were last years clover

Thanks, I left the area in the second week of august and at that point it was starting to look good. Everything was late but we were getting regular rains so there is still potential
Captain Beast so out here there isn’t very much reliable rain to grow a cover crop during the summer months and also 40*c temperatures don’t really do much for a cover crop. As soon as it starts raining again in late April or May (we hope) the next crop is planted
@@TheGrayham92 Seems like a cover crop is needed. Those high temps and little rain are the perfect reason to have one. preserve soil moisture instead of making it worse by tilling.
@@Chris.B1111 moisture is the most limiting factor growing a crop in Australia. If you grow a crop over summer it dries the soil profile out and you are starting with nil. The best practice is to maintain stubble cover and kill all summer weeds
Try Finding an Aussie farmer's who film weekly like * Welker farms * sonne farm - south sask farmer etc is a tuff call here . Cant find anyone who commits to filming here . wtf 2018 started looking nope no one yet . 🤔
Mean soundtrack....gotta get this guy's playlist
Great edit and fab soundtrack. Love the high speed sprayer.
i dont think to spraying footage was sped up, it is very common for australian farmers to spray over 30khr
Which song and singer i this?

Do you know what they are spraying? I never saw something yellow coming out of a sprayer. Great video and greetings from Germany ;)

@@joescheller6680 i hated spraying with treflan man it left a shit taste in my mouth prnt.sc/hc2eab

Isso aí é adubo ou semente que tão plantando?
What happens to the previous years stubble in Australia?? Looks like you're planting on bare soil
Seeder is also cultivator

Maybe just combined very short to the ground idk

What's the name of the farm that has the John deere 9rx ?

@@Chris.B1111 of course it would be great if they had cover crops but if they don't grow what are ya gunna do

Superbe vidéo je rêve d’aller en Australie 😍
came very close to ripping off last row @4:20
yeah was pretty close! not how i would drive
@@TheGrayham92 Same here...
I agree, not a good turn which then created a miss and an overlap. A tow between air cart would have been nice as well for the JD set up 👍🏼
Great video!
Is this near Esperance?
I'm from Canada and i lived out in bussleton for a few months and drove up the coast to shark bay.
Absolutely most desolate place I've ever been.
I worked on a farm near Dudinin WA, I've never felt so far from civilisation. Absolute desert.
Well you haven't seen Nullarbor Pains.
Sure looks like pure sand soils dose it grow there?
yeah it grows, that area is quite sandy but there are areas of more clay type, or more gravel type soil
Are those alkaline ponds?
Salt water lakes.
I would rather hear the tractors than the background music, hear about the farm and it's history. Visual is good, audio, not so much.
if you find a drone that records good quality tractor sounds, let me know
@@TheGrayham92 i think the song went well with it and i bet finding a drone with a good mic is no easy task
any rocks in the soil
haha in that area, no. but believe me when i say there are a lot of rocks in southwestern australia
