Capos are really cheap. I normally use The brand Dunlop. Good, cheap and they last forever

I normally advice to put whole chords for few reasons. One is that if you play s concert and you pick the wrong string it still sounds good

That’s true. But at the same time every professional guitarist of classical guitar has long nails in the right hand. That’s how you play guitar. The same for flamenco guitar and most of the fingerstyle guitar players
