I really enjoyed this conversation and respect and absorb, the comments and advice as a writer and an audience. I haven't seen Chicago Med (but a FB friend from SE Louisiana, is in an episode as a transwoman). I haven't seen any drama med shows since ER. Lost interest in it after S5 (it got too full of soapbox opera). I'm so pleased to know that this kind (Puri's brand) of psychiatric medicine is being told. After having a painful illness 20 years ago and only 5 years ago finding out what really helps people cope and overcome physical illness, I know how crucial our mental state is - for wellness. Thank you all for this.

I'm glad I had the opportunity to watch this excellent interview from start to finish. I don't know how Dr. Paul Puri finds enough energy in the day to do everything that he does and has done already. I loved hearing about separating myself from my product and him sharing this San Diego Comic-Con advice he heard... he was not a special snowflake and nobody owed him anything. There is so much good material in here and I absolutely recommend it to screenwriters looking to learn more about TV writing and working in a writer's room. Thank you Chris, Ramesh, and The Inside Pitch for posting this.
