    This video was extremely helpful. More products need this.

    This thing is super annoying. Leaked from the weep hole from new. Replaced the check valve and guess what? Leaking again within a week. I have an auto watering system for my planter boxes and this is the only outside hydrant I have. Apparently it’s the wrong one.

      I am trying to fix a weep hole leak as well? did you end up getting a whole new faucet? I have an auto-watering system too so technically it's constantly "on"

      @@legacycontrol Because it has to be replaced so far back into the wall it hasn’t been top of list. At this point I’m just not using my auto watering. But gardens are planted and summer is coming so dealing with a leaky faucet is just what I’ll have to live with.

    Is there a way to replace the whole assembly? if I try to unscrew it just spins loose...

    4:52 small leak is normal? Thats ridiculous. Go back to the drawing board on your anti siphon system

    so it is not designed to be use for 12 hours or more, with a garden hose connected? what kind of crap is it? yes, I have a quick stream from the weep hole on the handle. unbelievable. BTW, I don't leave my garden hose end in a shithole so no need for these anti siphon half baked designs.

      These are designed to be installed, not used. We're on our THIRD replacement PK2026 in 6 years. "Not designed to have a host connected for 12 hours" seems like a "not designed to be a wall mount hydrant".

      I have a weep hole streaming leak too and I plan to replace the check valve - should I just give up and replace the whole faucet since I plan to run a timer on it?

      @@legacycontrol there is a tiny o-ring inside the check valve that needs replacing, that's the actual fix... but the company makes money from selling the whole thing as a replacement.

      Terrible-stupid design, don’t buy this faucet. The weep hole check assembly design sucks!!!!!

      @arcooke Год назад

      @@oscarteran7734 when i replace mine, I'll try to remember to take out the old o-ring out and take measurements with my calipers and post here. if that's the real cause of the leaking, a bag of replacement o-rings would cost a buck

    I'm trying to replace the check assembly part. I just don't understand. The little instruction that the guy gave me at the hardware store, no one mentioned the screw on the end of the check assembly. I can't get this thing off even when trying to unscrew it. This is so ridiculous! And your video is not helpful

      Well I finally got it off. Couldn't believe how long that took. Thought I was going to break the whole thing and now I'm trying to get the new one on. What a joke! I can't even believe it won't go on now. I'm trying to tap it lightly with the hammer like the guy at the hardware store said and it just wants to go in. It crooked now I'm afraid I'm going to break it. Putting a new one on... What a complete joke only in the US. Do we have crap like this... Well I got it on there. Just kind of a frustrating part to deal with that's for sure.. I hope this fixes the problem
