I have enjoyed and learned much from your vids. Thanks again so much for the work and information you put in them. We are using Ableton and Propresenter successfully together because of your teaching and are looking forward to adding new things based on your recommendations. Awesome job!!!
Looks like a great and a simple product for most worship teams with basic needs. But why not also add a USB-C for the host….. That would add a ton of flexibility and it missing is a dealbreaker for me!
Thank for the video jake and I think it's a nice bit of kit and a tidy solution but I expect it to be half the price they are asking considering it is just 8 outputs when you get an audio interface with ins and outs and more options for literally half the price. or A whole digital stagebox mixer like the X air 18 that is a mixer, audio interface etc in one and you can run your track directly into the x air via usb? Like I said thanks for the video man really love all your content and thanks for going through it with us - just don't like their asking price :)
eddie perez I have a PreSonus Studio 1810, which is great. But also, something like a Focusrite 18i20 or a Behringer UMC1820 would also be great. And all of them are cheaper than the TrackRig.
Same price as a PlayAudio12. PA12 has 10 1/4" outputs and redundant capability. But the Trackrig has 8 XLR outs (removing the need for 1/4" cables and DI boxes) and a powered USB hub. I feel like the price is warranted. But it would be nice to have an input or 2 as well.
just buy what you need. sometimes buying the cheap stuff will later come back to bite your wallet. if you buy what you need the first time around, all will be good.
Just get a little breakout box. they are nice. this way you will have like 3 usb 3 ports hdmi. Plus I will say being in video and photography is another reason why apple does this. When you have 1000 photos to transfer this can be done it a minute instead of an hour. Can this track rig be used in other daws?
Definitely seems a bit over priced for not having any Inputs/Pre-Amps and the only other feature being a $20 powered USB hub. If you want eliminate DI boxes you could get TRS to XLR adapters and use a standard interface . Also, for not a whole lot more ($30 or so) you could get the Behringer UMC1820 pair it with their ADA8200 you get 8 xlr out plus the 10 1/4" Line outs and 16 inputs (never hurts to have some inputs), and you can still rack mount the whole thing. I realize that they are trying to make things simple and streamlined just straight out, but I just can't see the justification for the price compared to full featured interfaces in the same price range
One of the things I love about PCs is that if you can't find a hardware setup prebuilt to meet your needs, it is so easy to just select the hardware you want and build your own. I built a machine for our church because I wanted all the card reads, USB 3, and a DVD burner readily accessible at the front of the box. I'm more of a computer guy than a sound guy, but I just don't understand this desire to use laptops for this type of setup. I could see a case for having a touch screen, but touch screen technology isn't limited to laptops.

Jake, you do such a great job explaining and relaying your thoughts. Thank you for investing in us worship leaders!

This interface is way over priced for the limited features. :/
what do you recommend?

Can you connect two of these devices so that you have double the output?
Off topic but the music that starts at 10:10 sounds awesome! Any change you could share what it is? Great video
Do you have a service you use for background music? Always sounds super sweet
I can't get my track rig to connect via USB A, even though it works through a usb C cable, anyone else have this issue?

When I plug into my mixer it only plays out of channel 1 and two and I’m using a MAckie prox v3
Is this compatible with other DAWs, such as Pro Tools or Logic Pro X?
#dongle. 😁

Adam Luth TRS to XLR adapters wont make your signal balanced
Do you have an outline of this, like a diagram of the whole setup 👌
How do you integrate this with a headphone amp system?
Great video bro.
nice product. what mix console was being used for this demonstration?
Soundcraft EPM8
Can it be used in windows?
Tutorial start at 5:14, your welcome!

Does track rig make tracks sound more clearer?
