HIGHLY, VERY HIGHLY recommended places to go in Manila:
1. Bonifacio Global City or BGC (for urban street art)
2. Luneta Park and Fort Santiago (for an amazing walk to Manila's history)
3. Okada, Solaire, and The Cove (for luxury and extravagance)
4. Binondo Chinatown (world's oldest chinatown) (for sprawling culture and food)
5. National Museum of Natural History (for an state-of-the-art architecture and fossils)
6. Mall of Asia (former largest mall in Asia)
(to get you more excited) Luneta Park is included in Asia's best parks TripAdvisor, and Okada Manila holds the record for having the world's largest dancing fountain ;)
Binondo is a must, get the Black Chicken soup and try the Soup #5.
Just one additional place to visit that I really enjoyed is Dampa Sa Farmers Market.
Try quezon ave. The local delicacies there are quite good. Or airforce one along sucat.
Ronald Rey Ensalada Okada holds the record for the world's largest MULTICOLOR dancing fountain. Take note that Okada's fountain is even smaller than Las Vegas' Bellagio.
DIVISORIA 😊
6:45 Oh George you're new friend is called 'General Pio Del Pilar'

Yes that is going to be Epic 😎👍👍👍
@Ganda Gandara haha i dont think they are too thin skinned
As someone who lives in the area, keep your phone and wallets either in your side pockets or your bag.
You can also reach a good number of malls in the area (megamall, trinoma, mall of asia) if you ride the bus/MRT (train) along EDSA (main highway).
Im so excited of this journey :D There's a lot of places to go to in Luzon part of the Philippines. Like BGC, Baguio, Makati, etc.
It makes me smiling watching your vlog guys. I'm so proud to see you all back exploring Manila together . Feel at home guys. And be safe..looking forward to more blogs from your travels 😊🇵🇭❤✌
I literally LOL-ed on the "Making it Juicy In the Philippines" comment! I think your videos have improved massively since the last time i watched, and with that, I happily subscribed! Wish u both a very adventurous trip and cant wait to see more videos!
In The Philippines, where there is Jollibee there definitely will be a McDonald's nearby. In a place where none of them are present. If one puts up a branch there the other will surely follow. :D
Enjoy the Metro! You've got a lot of places to go, food to try and people to meet.
Werqster yup. The moment the new Jollibee open up in our province, the rumor of McDonalds opening is everywhere in town. Lol😂😂
Hi guys! I've been watching your vlogs for quite some time now and they are awesome!!! Actually the place you're staying in now is called MAKATI CITY which is inside METRO MANILA. Though the terms Manila and Metro Manila are usually interchanged by tourists, I think it's also a great learning opportunity to delineate the two to be able to get a better grasp of how it is to live in both cities :D The City of Manila, the Philippines' capital, is actually inside a bigger Metropolitan Manila which is composed of 16 cities, including Manila and Makati. Both cities have something in common and that is heavy traffic and night life but each has its own culture. Makati City is more of a financial centre (that's why the tall buildings for office space and the fastfood places in every corner). The City of Manila is the capital which is also the most densely populated part of the Philippines where you can see the remnants of the Spanish colonial era. Take care in our streets!! There are more friendly people than their are bad ones but it's always safe to remain vigilant. Have a great stay here! I hope I can see you guys walking around somewhere lol. Cheers!
What a beautiful couple ❤️ thank u for visiting our country 😍 u two really look amazing! Enjoy ur time in the Philippines! 😉💕
New subscriber here btw 😊😁
Yay! Hope you will explore Manila deeper in the future! 😊
Welcome back guys! Awesome editing! Looks like you've had a great holiday and lots of inspiration. ;)
This is such an interesing destination! Really have to plan something there soon! Loved your vlog and you are so lovely :)
welcome back you always welcome here ",
Oh... Yeah i remembered from another video you're doing a collab this year. So this is the start of it. Its going to be awesome... Hope this year is going to.be more fun for you guys!
It's good to see you all together again with Mike and Nelly! Happy planning and enjoy!
Wow 😍love juicy making it happen 💖👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
make sure you put your wallet at the side pocket not the back pocket. Also, if you're carrying a backpack while riding MRT or LRT, wear your backpack in reverse, like frontpack. Pickpockets in Manila are extremely pro. Sad to say :(
BUT THE VARIETY OF FOOD in MANILA is just AWESOME!! and Malls.
Since you're there. Go to MALL of ASIA. :D
Not really now bcoz of the government war on drugs and a lot of them exterminated. It's more safe now to go around here but be careful not to go from some other places here that your safety will in danger. Enjoy visit Philippines.
Yeah more safe but there still some danger there
I'm happy to say that I don't do this anymore. Don't get me wrong, you still need to be careful. But pick pocketing isn't the problem that it once was almost 10 years ago.
I always wear my backpack at the back now. I simply leave my valuables like phones and wallets deep inside the bag as an extra precaution.
But other things like my 50 dollar ear buds (thats considered above average here), flash drives, power banks are on the outside pocket. I've been doing this for years and so far I never lost them. I also never lost a phone from a pick pocket.
Still, be careful.
Enjoy ur stay here
True..Beware of pickpocketers in Manila...
not much incident on those crimes even before duterte. it's actually safe around the metro now except in selected areas in quiapo, pasay, caloocan, etc.
those who live here in manila can freely walk while holding their mobile phones, gadgets, etc.
You guys are having a blast .. thanks on behalf choosing Phil as one of you top destination.. awesome
I'm very glad to see you very at home this time...welcome back!
When in Manila stay at the BGC or Makati area so everything's within reach. Less traffic..
Have you guys already been in bgc or bonifacio global city in manila?.. if not, try to visit it you'll surely love the place anyway welcome to manila.. the busiest part of the philippines but its all worth it because the city has a lot to offer just try to explore the beauty of the city..
Go to BGC and Piazza! Welcome to Manila! :)
TONDO BGC sucks
BGC's blue print was inspired by city in Singapore... 👍🏻
BGC is not the real Manila. A step outside of BGC you will see the garbage from BGC
True! BGC- (Bonifacio Global City) is the modern, highly urbanized, very clean, prosperous city in Metro Manila Philippines, this place is a must to see by foreign tourist in Manila, if you want to see the prosperity of the Philippines you must go to BGC, Makati City, Mandaluyong City, Pasig City,Pasay City etc.. those cities are part Metro Manila the national capital region of the Philippines So many Cities to explore, Wonderful Philippines!
Enjoy...Enjoy...Enjoy...Enjoy....and more fun in the Philippines......Take care
I got excited guys!! Cant wait!
OmG your in my City!! Makati! The premiere City of the Philippines! Enjoy!
Have breakfast at Cafe Breton at Greenbelt 4 Makati and have Eat All You Can Buffet at SPIRAL BUFFET (World's Best Buffet/Asian Grandest Buffet) at the Sofitel Hotel CCP Complex in Pasay City Manila. Spiral buffet through 21 Dining Ateliers for only USD $60/person or Php3000 each (Filipino, French, Italian, American, Japanese, Thai, Korean, Chinese, Indian etc.)
Reunited with Nelly and Mike! I'm so excited to watch your future videos
Amazing you guys! You walked around Manila! That's a tough challenge. I love your positive attitude and your energy!
You create the best team and become successful and famous here.
You actually caught 1 filipino actor on your camera while you're at a cafe 😁 that's MARVIN AGUSTIN there hehehe
What minute is it? Hindi ko napansin.
So, nirepeat ko. Oo nga. May nakuha silang Filipino Actor behind them.
HAHAHA he seemed know george and lucy 😁
11:41 are you sure it's Marvin?
Maybe he's planning to put up a ramen restaurant next hehe. He already co-owns several Japanese restos but i think no ramen places yet(?). But Mendokoro really is one of the best ramen places so I'm not surprised it gets a loyal following
Nice to see you guys back in the Philippines!!!
Definitely following every step of the way...
You two are epitomes of travellers - polite, well-mannered and very nice to people!
The guy you met is Andres Bonifacio. One of PH's national heroes.
Im not really sure though. hehehe
@@rossc7277 very classy comment
He is!
Heneral Pio del Pilar. Along Makati Ave. :)
He is not Andres Bonifacio! Hahaha! He is Heneral Pio Del Pilar he founded the Katipunan chapter called Magtagumpay. And he was born and raised in Makati.
@@rossc7277 No respect for the forefathers. SMH
you two are slowly becoming filipino... loving rice is the proof..🙂
How many times do u have to visit the philippines to become a filipino ? I been there 11 times 🤔🤔🤔
Thank you for vlog! So informative to watch and hope enjoy your tour best!
welcome back George and Lucy enjoy ur stay in manila waiting for the next video
To be honest, at first when I watched your video I can hardly understand Lucy if she talk because of her accent but now I noticed that I can understand most words if she talk hehehe just a matter of listening more and watching your videos more as well to enhance my hearing skill hehehe
Goodluck guyz! Enjoy!
You should explore Bonifacio Global City more!
That's what I was about to say, too.
Try Din Tao Fung in highstreet for authentic Chinese food. Namoo House in Uptown Parade for awesome korean bbq. Manam for Pinoy food with a twist!
Don’t miss out on the nightlife as well- BAD, Island, Revel, Rum Jungle, Versus Barcade, iPong, Gorda etc!
Try walking from Sm Aura to Market Market then straight to Bonifacio High Street and end up in Burgos Circle!
Also try going to Rockwell specifically Powerplant Mall!
TONDO😂😂😂
Welcome back!! have fun!
"salamat Po ..."
Surely made Filipinos smile❤️😍
Enjoy Po.❤️
Go to Ayala triangle and have a taste of banapple resto.. they have delicious foods there..
pricey. not worth it.
Hi. You are staying near Century Mall. You can go there and visit Mary Grace. They have great tasting cheeserolls and what we call ensaymadas and their Mango Bene cake. Also, you can try All4U at the 4th floor. It is an all you can eat korean samgyupsal. There is also I'M hotel with a great Onsen spa and massage. Have fun!
Mike is an expert on this area hahaha. I'm sure he has already mentioned this stuff. But yeah they haven't tried hot chocolate of Mary Grace with grilled ensaymada as part of old filipino merienda
Welcome back guys. Good to see that you enjoy your stay here..
You guys are actually staying near an up-and-coming area, the Poblacion area in Makati has a ton of Areas with affordable food and great live music. For great coffee, try Tilde or Single Origin, if you guys want to go on a fancy romantic date, try Blackbird in Ayala Triangle. Manila has crazy good culture if you get past the normal suggestions in guidebooks. Anyways, I hope you guys stay safe while having a blast, much love!
Hope you enjoy the stay in our beautiful country😌.

There are some good parts but mostly dirty parts in Manila
Thats true...i been to alot of places and i am still shocked when i see the poverty ...the housing , the smell ...thats the real philippines ..not MOA or BGC thats artificial

WOW!!!! So surprised to see Mike and Nellie on this video!!!!
Welcome to the philippines guys!!!!! I love your vlogs very much! More more support !!
‘Musta, from a Pinoy living in Newcastle, UK. My wife and I have been watching your old Philippines videos over the past few days - the fact that you guys missed having rice for breakfast makes you both honorary citizens in my eyes! As you both like your coffee, I suggest you hit up the artisanal cafe that my brother, Andre, runs called Yardstick. Next door to it is my cousin’s awesome restaurant, Your Local. Would be great to meet you both the next time you’re in Geordie land.
Welcome back to the Philippines! Nice to see Mike and Nelly in the video.
Thanks for choosing Philippines. #Subscribed.
make sure when you go back to Cebu to try the MAIN Sugbo Mercado at IT park on the weekends - the last time it was the 'other' satellite Sugbo Mercado tou visited over at Mandaue
