I absolutely love this cellist! Out of all the first cello concerto saint saen recordings, this cellist is the best one! I will admit the orchestra isn’t as good, but if you combine this cellist with the one playing with Gautier, it would perfect!!!
16:55 I think he overexerted pressure into that E and the bow just got stuck. Previously he also has been a bit rough especially in the slower themes and phrases. But otherwise a solid performance by Mischa

What are you talking about it’s usually faster, most recordings are faster. This is a nice speed
