@@EthanReadsHisBooksMaisky has said he feels physically and musically restricted in a standard suit/tux.
I like what he wears, as a soloist you’re already clearly separated from the orchestra so I don’t think attire is too big a deal. Plus female performers were dresses or other non standard attire often with color.

Wow! Maisky again posting himself as the best cellist of our tines. Unfortunately underrated by arbitrary "best cellists" in the web. But his cello, is very strong but at the same for which he has been critiqued) the interpretation is flawless and the cello is the the most important and instrument as in all concerts for an instrument it is that one that takes the lead. Yoyo Ma, the top rated cellist wherever yo search in the web is the umber one, and I think he is great, but Maisky deserves to be the number 1 cellist as his powerful cello takes over whatever piece he plays .

Obstatic sorry dude, Mischa is as close to God as anything or anyone else. Mischa IS God, since there exists nothing that is not God. And before you offhandedly dismis this, give it some serious thought, and let the ramifications of this sink in.

***** "Because our universe will collapse one day, scientifically speaking"
and "since the universe had a beginning"
How can you know this? How can ányone know this? It is merely a theory, speculation based on as yet (very) incomplete knowledge, like a lot of scientific "knowledge" today as far as origin and purpose of Existence is concerned.
Maybe "the Big Bang" was/is just one heartbeat of God?
Maybe All Of This is just a dream in the mind of God, who is our Self?
      The Truth is:
Ending is God, beginning is God. Mortality is God, immortality is God. Eternity is God, moment to moment is God. The universe is God, and all that is beyond the universe is God. Knowing is God, and ignorance is God. It's completely and totally and eternally beyond human intellectual understanding. And we are completely at the merci of IT, and we áre IT.
      But the music is nice...

    So much passion! Loved it.
Also had to take a long look at the concertmaster: he looks like Jascha Heifitz incarnate!!

Excellent performance. It cracks me up to see the difference in bow tapping (applauding) from the violinist and the violist at 46:34 is quite different. Violinist super excited, the violist is like... meh!

Love the way he bring all the emotions, boldness , aggression and harmony just hit. I feel so emotional just by listening and looking at him while he playing. It felt good and fresh. So charismatic and such gentleman too.
