I remember hearing this song back in March at a show where YFN Lucci, Rich the Kid, and Little Dicky (he headlined) performed. I was just there for Rich and YFN, though. I remember the promoter played this song in between sets, which is usually the time they play songs by a bunch of "up and coming" talent. Most of the songs they played sucked, but I remember hearing this one and thinking, "yep, that's going to be a hit by the end of the year." It's interesting how quickly you can rise and fade away in the rap game. Sheck Wes probably couldn't even get backstage at that show in March, but could probably headline that same show today. The moral of the story is to stay persistent and put content out there if you're an artist. It doesn't have to be perfect. Take imperfect action.
