    Why does the bag keep slipping off the clip? This was not a problem with my last Cat and Dog. With my new one I have to keep checking when its in use to push the bag back up on the clip. I'm using blue bags with blue clip, bags sent by Miele.

    Another question for ya. During vacuuming, the indicator was solid orange for the duration and it's a new bag. When I removed the head from the floor or powered off, the indicator went back to clear. I checked and made sure it's installed properly. The filters are also still clean. Can you help me figure out why this is happening please?

    The dust bag stays open when you remove the hose and while the lid is closed. I thought the purpose of the sealed dust bags was for it to close? Does this mean I leave the hose on for the dust not to escape? Or do i undo the hose and remove bag and leave the lid open?

    • @kevinnoto7664
      @kevinnoto7664 7 лет назад

      Hi,
      You are 100% correct. The bag is designed to stay open when it is installed so that the dust can easily flow into the bag. Most people leave the vacuum hose on at all times. If you do not want to store the vacuum with the hose on, you would need to uninstall the bag so the "trap door" could shut and seal in the dust.
      Please let me know if I did not understand your comment fully and we can try to explain ourselves better.
      Thank you

    • @Trdat
      @Trdat 7 лет назад

      Appreciate your help, just kind of defeats the purpose of sealing the dust in if the bag doesn't shut or there isn't a flap in the hose. So what would you recommend to keep all dust and particles inside, uninstall bag or leave hose on? To be honest uninstalling bag is not problem but the lid doesn't close with bag uninstalled....

    • @Tsch6373
      @Tsch6373 7 лет назад

      Trdat Don't worry about it, nothing is going to get out if you use common sense. Either leave the hose attached or take it off, the bag is supported inside the cleaner, it's not going to puff out at you!

    • @VacuumCleanerMarket
      @VacuumCleanerMarket  4 года назад +2

      If you are sticking with the AirClean (the rectangular cloth filter that comes in the boxes of bags) you need to change both your AirClean filter and your motor filter every 4 vacuum bags. If you have upgraded to a HEPA filter, HEPA filters are good for 50 hours of use. This equates (on average) to about 1-1.5 years. The HEPA filter lifetime is based upon time of use, so if you are an avid cleaner, you will use your filter quicker that someone who is cleaning once a week, or bi-weekly. I hope this helps! If not, please reach out to us. We have live, US based customer service support, from 6am-5pm pst M-F, and 7am-4pm Saturday and Sunday :)

    Great video. I have had my Miele for 4 years and now for some reason not everything I suck up is going in the bag, stuff is leaking out the vacuum bag mouth and going into the vacuum compartment. This has happened the last 3 bag changes. Bags are not full. What can cause this?

    • @Robert-sy9ji
      @Robert-sy9ji 2 года назад +1

      Critical Miele canister vacuum bag info. Every time the bag compartment is opened the bag pops out of the mounting bracket slightly. If you just close the lid on the vacuum bag compartment, the hose opening on the compartment lid will not align with the opening on the bag and dirt will go directly into the vacuum compartment and this will destroy the vacuum motor. If you open the bag compartment, it is critical that you re seat the bag in the bracket every time. Hope this saves some vacuums.

      We recommend purchasing genuine bags. Not to upsell you, but they are better quality, have better filtration, and last longer. Be careful with the off brands, and make sure to regularly check your bag clip, as the generic ones tend to fall off.

    Hi there, thanks for the video. Question, after I changed the bag, the display for the fullness is at half red. I figured it would or should be completely black. Did I do something wrong?

    • @robwalton2007
      @robwalton2007 5 лет назад

      Check your pre-motor filter. It's possible some dust & dirt buildup has occured, slightly restricting airflow. I would take it out, give it a good rinse with cold water, then let dry on a flat surface for AT LEAST 24 hours or longer till it's bone dry. Then re-install in the vacuum. Also check to make sure your HEPA filter isn't restricting airflow, if it's more than 2 years old there could be enough dust buildup that the pores of the paper media are starting to clog & restrict airflow. Take the filter out & see how much suction the vacuum has without the filter, that will give you a idea if it needs replacement or not.

    • @unclvinny
      @unclvinny 4 года назад

      rob w this is exactly the info I needed. I thought my bag was full, but really the problem was the filter lying flat over the motor. It was mostly black. After replacing it I can get some more life out of the bag. Thanks!

    I'm trying to purchase the air clean and super air clean separately, but I am confused. Are they the same thing and one is cut? Or are they separate. I cannot seem to find the small one anywhere!

    • @VacuumCleanerMarket
      @VacuumCleanerMarket  4 года назад

      You can certainly purchase the air clean filters separately- but they do come standard in the boxes of bags as well. The AirClean is the rectangular cloth filter and the motor filter is the spongy square filter. This video might help you a Little more in seeing the placement - ruclips.net/video/1jlAidpUaFQ/видео.html

    Should I replace the bag if the indicator is orange while vacuuming or when there is no load and head is free in the air??

      Unless you were wearing rubber gloves and a mask that would be pretty gross. All the same, it's possible with other brands to empty the bag onto newspaper before putting it in the compost so that you can see whether you picked up coins or jewellery o something else you don't want to lose.

    Is it possible to fit a dust bag from miele compact C1 in miele classic C1?

    • @VacuumCleanerMarket
      @VacuumCleanerMarket  7 лет назад +1

      Hi,
      Yes....the Miele FJM & GN bags have the same fitting. So technically the bags are interchangeable. The only difference is that the GN bags are about 1 qt larger in capacity than the FJM style bags.
      This means that using a FJM bag in place of a GN bag is always OK to do, but using a GN bag in place of an FJM could lead to overfilling of the bag compartment.

    What about sizes of the bags?

    • @VacuumCleanerMarket
      @VacuumCleanerMarket  8 лет назад

      Hi Andrew,
      The vacuum bag sizes are as follows.
      FJM - 3.7 qz
      GN - 4.76 qz
      U - 5.45 qz
      KK - 2.6 qz
      Please note that the great suction of the Miele vacuums compacts the debris inside of the bags. They actually last quite long compared to their capacity numbers.

    When I use my powerheads the indicator turns orange

    • @VacuumCleanerMarket
      @VacuumCleanerMarket  6 лет назад

      HI! This indicator is your bag change indicator and also your air flow indicator. It's measuring the amount of airflow to your vacuums motor. When you attach a powerhead this may trigger the indicator to move right slightly, but it shouldn't be drastic. Have you tried adjusting the height of your powerhead? If your indicator is moving wildly to the right (turning all orange), then you might have your powerhead too close to your carpeting. I would suggest adjusting your powerhead height if this is the case.
      Please let us know what happens or if you have any more questions!

    About time these manufacturers were making all these things reusable.

    • @VacuumCleanerMarket
      @VacuumCleanerMarket  4 года назад +1

      They make them one time use as cleaning bags / filters manually puts your body in contact with all of the toxins you are removing from your home. This is why bagless machines are not recommended for allergy or asthma sufferers :).

    • @markanon5581
      @markanon5581 4 года назад
