Very nice 440i…congratulations 🎉. I have the grand coupe 440i 2019 and have been looking to lower the car. How’s the ride with your KW v3? Is it okay or bit too stiff? Does your car have adaptive suspension?
Hey thank you! I’m loving these cars. My honest opinion - I have adaptive suspension and on sport or sport+ it’s a bit too stiff for me. But I also believe that’s the point of a sports car, to be a stiff ride. It softens up nicely on comfort mode but I still find myself cringing over every bump and hole.. you feel everything. I’ve also never felt what it was like stock, bought the car with the kw’s. But the handling is out of this world. Very good. I have minor rubbing but I can fix by just raising the height. Idk man, would I pay 3k for the v3’s probably not. I like the handling but not the roughness. End rant 😂
Great video man! I had a quick question. So I am considering getting either a 2019 440i gran coupe or a 2021 Lexus is350 f sport. How do these cars compare? Have you driven a Lexus or a similar car? everyone i've talked to has been telling me that there's nothing like driving a BMW. I've only ever driven a 335i and an X5. Let me know your thoughts (and dw if you're completely bias towards the BMW over the Lexus)
Hey thanks for commenting! Unfortunately I’ve never driven an is350 or any other Lexus for that matter, so I don’t have much to compare to. But after driving my 2011 335i and now 2017 440i I have no desire to find out what the is350 has to offer. I’m too busy enjoying my 440 haha. Does that mean it’s a bad car? Absolutely not. You probably can’t go wrong either way. But you know my vote is for the 440 man you won’t have regrets 👍🏻
I don’t think you get enough bang for your buck with the Lexus unless it’s fully decked out and then it’s like $51,000 you go with the I S 500 if you’re going to compare the BMW against Lexus because without the turbo in the IS 350 you’re gonna be kind of lost it really does make a difference nowadays whereas the I S 500 has the V8 and you won’t be lacking in power but you will be lacking in wallet because it’s about $75,000 out the door.
man i got to get one. i use to have a 328 e90, 335 e92, and 528 e39 i miss having bmw in my life. even my newer year benzes didn't compare to my e90 that was really my favorite car. @@StarGloryJaydo I found the opposite to be true in my area. A 440 under 100k was well under 30k whereas the 340 is more popular and held more value. Any M4 worth buying is 15k+ extra
what's the difference between a 4 door 340i and a 4 door 440i? and would you recommend either of those over the 540i and the 640i? (looking for a Daily Driver Sports Sedan)
Great question, the 2 main differences I can think of is the 4 door 440 (grand coupe) is a hatchback actually, and the 340 has a standard trunk. Also exterior styling is different. Different taillights, the 4 series has a fender vent. I’m sure there’s other differences. As for which one id recommend.. I’d say go 340i or 440i GC depending on which style you like more. The 440 GC might be a tad more practical with the hatchback. 540 and 640 are great I’m sure but just a little too big for me. 4 series is just right imo 🤌🏻

@@danielfoster2613 oh man I never realized that either haha. I’ve been meaning to do a dedicated N55 vs B58 comparison so keep your eye out! Launching in thick fog is wild tho 👀
Hey man just bought the same car and basically have the same exterior carbon fiber as you. My car is black. I just grabbed a set of TWI bronze rims and man I love them. I’ll send a pic in dm
Congrats bro! You won’t regret it. That color combo sounds 10/10. Always wanted to do bronze just never went for it
Get a gloss black roof wrap and make sure the roof side rails are included too. I have a 440i with a roof wrap it is absolutely insane how much better it looks with the wrap. Spent $400 but that's Cali prices so in other states should be cheaper. The only con is that exterior wraps usually don't come with any warranty and you gotta be careful and not take the car to an automatic touch carwash..
Heck yea thanks for the info! A roof wrap is very high on my list of things to do 💪🏻 I agree it looks amazing. I might even wrap the whole car so stay tuned 🤫
@@beaterbeemer whole car wraps can be dope but they're so high maintenance you're gonna be tired of taking care of it 😄
I had a fully wrapped car and never again 😭 I swear I noticed every single rock chip it drove me nuts. The roof wrap is just perfect
@@flexdash dang, I appreciate that insight! I’m going to have to give it some serious thought in that case.
Nice mods! 340i buddy here :) Just with the 440i badge on the back, it looks like maybe the spacing is a little far apart? Might just be me or the camera angle
Thanks for the comment and constructive criticism! Damn you for noticing 😂 I had come to the conclusion that it’s so minuscule, no one would notice but me.. now I have to fix it haha! All good fun. I’ll probably just de-badge all together

End rant 😂
@@beaterbeemer thank you 🙏 very much I really appreciate it. Enjoy and be safe
Nice vid. What tire specs are you running to fit 437s lowered?
Thanks! As an AWD car I’m running a square set of continentals - 255/35/19
@@beaterbeemer Ahaha thanks for the response
Is350 sucks. I’ve driven both of these.
Amazing video! What a beautiful car. Subscribed!
Thank you for your support buddy!
man i got to get one. i use to have a 328 e90, 335 e92, and 528 e39 i miss having bmw in my life. even my newer year benzes didn't compare to my e90 that was really my favorite car. I've been looking at 430s but it just isn't the same without that i6 no matter if ppl say the b48 i4 is almost identical feeling to a n engine in my old e90... i doubt that lol
Hell yea bro thanks for commenting! I see you have good taste. I agree I think you should hold out for an N55 or B58. I can’t comment on how the b48 feels because I’ve never been in one but man.. the e90 vibe is just unmatchable! My e90 335 is still just sitting in need of a new motor because I refuse to sell it lol
4:06 exactly. Was just looking at a 340i at the dealer today coming from a e90 335

what sucks is a 440 cost almost the same price as a M4 where as a 340 or 540 with under 100k miles are nearly 10k cheaper
@@StarGloryJaydo I found the opposite to be true in my area. A 440 under 100k was well under 30k whereas the 340 is more popular and held more value. Any M4 worth buying is 15k+ extra
When you say 437m STYLE rims, does that mean they're not OEM? If so, hows the quality of reps compared to OEM?
Hey thanks for commenting, sorry if my wording didn’t make sense. I have genuine OEM 437’s so unfortunately I don’t know.
what's the difference between a 4 door 340i and a 4 door 440i? and would you recommend either of those over the 540i and the 640i?
@@beaterbeemer
I definitely want a B58 BMW with iDrive 7 and The M sports package for under 25k. im a 1st time car buyer and wasnt sure exactly which model yet.. but I do want 4 doors n 6 cylinders. I was really thinking 340i (Because I wanted an M3 as a kid in 2005 playing Need for speed Most wanted) Then I came across Justin Buice on YT who's car is nice and Now yours because I was exploring a 440i. the 540i has that premium bowers n wilker sound package and would be better for uber. I was also looking at additional packages from 2016+ such as the Cold winter package, premium sound packages, comfort packages etc. RELIABILTY is my main focus! I plan to keep the car for at least 3-5 years. I'm not sure which style I like more yet..
(leaning towards the 4 series) but this video made me even more certain that as long as it has 4 doors with the M sports package and the B58 combo I cant go wrong!
@@livinglegacy8429 very well put my friend. I’m honored that you went from JB’s channel to mine! I’m just a small RUclipsr but trying to create quality content for F32’s and e90’s everywhere. It’s undeniable that the 340i is more popular than the 440 GC. But I think the 440 is a little bigger and more practical with the hatch. Plus imo, the 4 series looks sportier but obviously you can make either car look amazing (look at JB’s car). I love my Harmon/Kardon, and the B58 is probably the most reliable turbo i6 right now. Of course going NA will always be more reliable but where’s the fun in that! You really can’t go wrong. Enjoy the process!
Its crazy cos in the UK you can get this car for less than 20k with lower mileage. Great review btw i like the passion behind it
Damn really?? That’s crazy good value for a b58 powered car man. In the US 28k was market value but I got like 5k in great mods. Thanks for the support!
No 440i is available for less than 20k in the UK
What do you do when the machine is in coldstart? Do you let the programme finish before you start driving?
Oh yea 100% I usually let the car warm up for about 5 minutes on average if it’s first start of the day
@@beaterbeemer I do the same thing but, not for 5minutes. Just untill the cold start is done.
Any particular reason for the 5min wait?

I have a 2011 328xi sedan. Love the car but I think a 440i would be a tad bit more comfortable for my 6'3 frame.
Absolutely! Going from my 2011 335 sedan, the first thing I noticed is that the 440i coupe is much roomier inside! Now practicality.. that’s a difference discussion haha.
@@beaterbeemer I'm a single guy and my kid is almost 17. So practicality is out the window. I just enjoy sporty coupes. Raised my kid in the back of a 92 Camaro and 79 trans am. An interesting video about the F32 could be about the water drainage in the front. Keep in mind that they clog up sometimes and can leak water into the interieur. The auto start stop isn’t just to save fuel; idling isn’t great for engines too. You can permanently disable the auto start stop with an OBD scanner if it’s that annoying. Nicely modified 440i 🤙
Thanks for commenting! Great points. I will admit it’s not that annoying especially since the button remembers it’s state and you only have to push it once instead of every time you get in the car and that’s good enough for me
@@beaterbeemer Putting it in sport mode cancels auto start stop too. I have a 2014 235i with the n55 engine so I always like hearing the comparisons between the n55 and b58.
I’m considering fitting a sports cat and remapping. Any advice?
@@danielfoster2613 oh man I never realized that either haha. I’ve been meaning to do a dedicated N55 vs B58 comparison so keep your eye out!
I bought my 440 with a high flow downpipe already installed so I can’t speak to installation much. But I have learned that not all “catted high flow” downpipes will keep your CEL away. Only the nicest brands/most expensive sports downpipes will pass emissions still. So I have a catted downpipe that still won’t pass emissions.. what’s the point lol might as well have gone catless. So do your research and find a sports cat that is up to spec to pass emissions (if you care).
Another route you can take is to bypass the emissions check through MHD or BM3. I’m running JB4 and want to get rid of it in favor of the other two for that reason and more power out of stage 2. Hope that helps!
