Yeah I ordered mine through FASS. And they charged me for it, I believe it was around $30. Which they should have just gave it to me for free. Since their product failed. Next time I'm going with Air Dog! Hope this video helps Small Farm! Let me know how things turns out?
The unit stopped working all together and I didn't realize it! My unit dose make noise but its hard to hear with the truck running. So I've got in the habit of turning the key half way witch will run the fuel pump only just to hear if it's working. Then turn key all the way to start engine. Than you Jordan F!
When you say 150, is this the older version? Cause I only see a 95 and 165 now - wonder it this is solved in those version Also I thought you would get no fuel if the pump was off/broken?
The Fass 150 is the older model, I think they have solved the problem on the new version. If your fuse or fass pump fails you still get fuel to the engine. Its a fail safe so you don't get stranded on the road! Thank you idtuner!
I bought the part from Fass, don't know the part number but i do believe the Fass 150 part s different than the Fass 165. Fass should be sending these parts out for free! They have sent out an incredible amount of faulty fuel pumps! I hope the Video helps the install! Thank you Dylan McGuire!
I dont get it.... Put a Fass 150 on my 2001 5.9 near 20 yrs ago & still like new. Change filters once a year & add alittle additive to fuel. ( 1 vp44 replaced)
This is a defect FASS should send the fix for free to those who registered or can provide proof of purchase. Thumbs down for FASS. I will probably look into a Kennedy now that I know how horrible their customer service is...
I've been having this issue a few months after I installed mine and eventually my return lines started leaking and blowing off. I clamped them down with screw clamps and the fuses started blowing more. I said screw it I've been driving without the pump on.
I bought Intoa 06’ Cummins with a 150 titanium and heard bout this and called them and they sent me the same stuff free! But we will see how good they really are cause can’t get my pump to run anymore! But I found that the suction side coming from tank was at a bad direction coming from the pink or red head of suction tube so hose was kinked! This is after multiple shops have had it and a engine put in so shows can’t trust anyone but yourself to care about your stuff! I put Russel AN 180 fitting along with all new hoses and fittings and now no pump! Anyways sorry bout the life story but just call and they will hook you up!
Do you have a part number for this by any chance?
Looks like I got some to keep an eye out for. Hope mine doesn’t mess up lol
@durtymaxlml 2:09 when you disconnected the fuel line from the Fass did it spin the line ?
Or does the brass fitting spin inside the blue fuel line
Did you change the draw straw on sending unit when you installed the pump? The 2015-16's need to have a larger draw straw or a sump installed.
Question! I cannot find a part number for the flow through regulator anywhere. Can you help me out? Thanks!
Mine is doing this now. Did you get that part from FASS
