Solo Backpacking in the Oregon Desert

First up is an overnight backpack, with an as-ultralight-as-I-could kit for the temps and potential snow expected. You will see my footwear choice could have been better for the soft, sandy ash that makes up the trails here. Fit over warmth would have been a worthy trade-off!
I spend the second night in the truck, near the Badlands Wilderness boundary for what I expected to be a chill evening at camp to relax from the backpacking. Once again, I made the decision to move on from my first camp.....

Thanks! It was Creamy Mac & Cheese. 1st time I've had that one & pretty good. I'm usually a Chili Mac kinda guy, but trying to expand my horizons 😄
@@OverlandAdventureTimes I havent tried the chili mac yet (I have one) but the chicken and dumplings and stroganoff were both really good. I think the chicken and dumplings is my favorite so far though.
