I remember watching those episodes...family Matters..boy meets world.. and step by step I was staying the night at my grandfather's house and I remember him telling me he was going to bed while I stayed up watching these episodes with the warm glow of the Christmas tree Illuminating the living room...I miss the 90s things were so much more simple 😢
I was almost 7 years old when this aired, so I'm almost positive our family must have watched this. We loved Urkel.

I think there was a Family Matters Christmas episode later on that was about a hobo living at there house, who was actually Santa Clause.

I know where most or all Urkel dolls are at. I was in Atlanta 6 years ago and was at this club called “Church”.
Never seen so many Urkel dolls hanging from the ceiling by their pull string loops. Never went back there again

Geneva was marks cousin..the show was on at a different time and day for the first season and the characters were different. When it was moved to TGIF in the second season it was tamed down and aimed more toward families

ABC's TGIF block declined beginning in fall 1997, stemming from a combination of aging sitcoms like Family Matters and Step by Step moving to CBS (who started - and ended - their own family-friendly Friday night sitcom line-up in 1997-98 called "The Block Party"), the oversaturation of supernatural/magic type shows (Sabrina the Teenage Witch & new series You Wish and Teen Angel, the latter of which both lasted only one season), the failure of Two of a Kind and Brother's Keeper (which was the last sitcom produced by the previously reliable Miller-Boyett group) starring the Olsen twins the following year (1998-99), and ultimately the ending of Boy Meets World after seven seasons and Sabrina... moving to The WB after the 1999-2000 season.
ABC would bring back the TGIF brand for the 2003-05 & 2018-19 seasons, but it never met the same success it had before.
You kinda destroyed Hangin With Mr. Cooper. It’s a classic, the little boy’s name is Tyler. Geneva is his cousin from the south. Vanessa is a friend of Marks and then just roommates. I wonder 💭 🤔 why or how you’ve never seen it before…
I loved it! It was my first time watching because at that time I was young and my bed time was at 9, so TGIF for me was only 8-9 lol
