Christmas in the 90's was amazing. Nickelodeon Christmas Specials, How The Grinch Stole Christmas, Home Alone 1 & 2, Toys R Us, Playstation, N64, Christmas Commerials.. Omfg... What a wonder world we were in at the time! Thanks for bringing us back.
I just bought my niece's Christmas crunch. They will never feel the nostalgia I try to capture in holiday season. I ordered my friends Swiss colony gits they loved them😊
I remember seeing that Christmas M&Ms commercial during the mid 2000’s. I wasn’t a 90’s kid but I think they reused this commercial at some point. Only saw it once though.
Ok hear me out, my favorite Christmas album from my childhood is…”Have yourself a scary little Cryptmas” parody from the Cryptkeeper (my uncle bought that for me in 1994) and “Crock O Christmas”-REN and Stimpy 😅 Home Alone soundtrack hits hard for me🥰
Soooo many Christmas specials , but if you don’t me recommending a indie movie that came out in 1993, it’s called “Solstice” you can finally find it streaming. I ask people about that movie and no one knows about that movie 🙏🏼
Yes! the Santa Clause is my favorite besides Home Alone 1&2! Shame the Santa clause sequels were terrible . I always love going to Toys R’Us with my dad whenever I went into the video game room, had to take a ticket 🎟️ and go to the register , video game Consoles I got for Christmas were SNES & later in PlayStation (crash Bandicoot & Space Jam were my first PS games I owned)
Ever since I was a kid I never asked for toys for Christmas i always asked for fruits sunflower seeds and jerky I'm 31 (about to be 32) and to this day I get a big bucket of jerky every year and I love it now my husband looks forward to getting that jerky jar every year I always do the present wrapping for everyone and the decorations we have A Christmas Story playing on the TV for most of the day now we get a follow up movie 😊
This video hits so close. Being able to grow up and experience Christmas in the 90s was truly amazing. It's a feeling that I hope and pray I can help recreate for my recently turned 4 year old son.
There were several different snes bundle packs I think through the years it was… Street fighter 2 Super Mario all stars Donkey kong country And Yoshi’s island. I could be dead wrong.
They still play those Hershey Kisses and M&Ms commercials to this day. Also, Corona's "O Tannenpalm" ad from 1990 still shows up every Xmas. I feel like it's officially Xmas time when I see those on tv
Christmas was the one time you knew you were gonna get a new video game maybe a new console. These kids nowadays have no idea what it was like, you’d get console and that would be it for years maybe, a video game on a birthday maybe but otherwise you rented games if they were available for a weekend maybe and until the late 90s with no memory cards or save slots usually…man I still remember getting Pokémon and a gameboy color in 98, everyone I knew that Christmas break got it. Still the best game phenomenon that only lasted a bit before the mania died down, I know the franchise is now the best selling if any medium but nothing beat that first year it came out as a 8 year old kid.
As I have been saying to family, friends and even some strangers for almost 20 years: The 1990s was arguably as close to a "high age" aka "golden age" as humanity ever got, especially for entertainment, collecitbles and more t. I also sometimes extend that halcyonic era , from the mid 1980s through the mid 2000s. That "generation of time", that solid 20 years was so great. No time period is without its issues of course, but as I said, narrowing it down to the 90s, that was as close to the greatest era we have seen in human history. ANd we can literally look back on many ages of the world, so...:P Happy "holy" days. Blessed to have grown up in the 1990s.
I think there's definitely a case to be made that supports exactly what you're saying! Those of us who were able to live through it were lucky to do so. Thanks for watching!
Many thanks for the kind words. Blessed inded and we must remember the blessings and loved ones in our lives and try to live iwht as few regrets as possible. Be well ^
Beavis and Butthead Christmas! "Huh Huh Humbug", "It's a Miserable Life", Letters to Santa Butt-Head, and the Yule Log clips! *Edit:* I meant, uh... Stool Log clips 🤣
Why do some stores and few people have to decorate for Christmas in November? Why do we hear a few Christmas songs in stores when it's November? It's like people are so excited for Christmas to come they can't wait till December so they start in November, "let's kind of celebrate Thanksgiving but mainly Christmas."
So the time frame from this video and the disney channel movies video is 2 week meanwhile the timeframes for the other videos is about a few months. Does that mean that you are going to upload more often or is it a one time thing?
We are glad that you noticed@@Smg-500 ! We're trying to be more consistent with uploads than we were in the past. Probably not quite every two weeks fast, but ideally a new video every month or so going forward. But the more views and comments we get, the more we'll be able to prioritize creating new videos. So feel free to share the videos you like with your friends!

Agreed!

I remember looking through the JCPenny toy catalogues constantly! Those were the most exciting things to get!
I was a JCPenny kid too!

I think you are right, it was played several years in a row

Christmas in the 90s was awesome especially because it meant alot growing up
Getting Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time for Christmas legitimately changed my life.

Such a great point!
Great list!! I had such a crush on both Charlie & Bernard 🤣Malls in the 90s around Christmas were soo magical the displays were unmatched
Thanks for watching! As you can tell, the Bernard phenomenon was a surprise to me until making this video!

Great recs!
We still have most of these things though
Some still exist, sure! But they aren’t quite the same as the once were
My favorite Christmas tv episode is the strike from Seinfeld!
Us too!
Underrated channel
@@firstnamelastname3842 hey thanks!
I worked at Toys R Us for a while back in the nineties so those Christmases weren’t all fun and games for me
Any specific department?
I was all over the place. In the video game department, cash register, stockroom, and sales floor. They worked me to death!

I think you’re right, people just can’t wait to celebrate. But thanksgiving is a great holiday too!
Garfield Christmas special eas my favorite
I’ll check it out, somehow missed that one!
Can i ask a question
Totally! What's up?
