That was three years ago. Since then, Maxi Stolz has been sitting in a wheelchair and has met his fate with impressive courage, strength and a lot of humor. Something Maxi has learned well since then is patience. “If you don't have one, you have to learn patience, the thing is how quickly you learn it. Now and then, if something doesn't work right away, you have to grit your teeth, otherwise you will go acidic. "
But Maxi has no time or inclination to go to waste: he rolls through his life, continues his education in his administrative job and plays wheelchair rugby. "When you get a call from the national coach and he says we want you with us, you're on the right track - you jump for joy. You can't do that, but that's an exalted feeling. "
Maxi has also remained true to his hobby, agriculture. He's been happy to help out on the farm in Eckfeld since his youth and has almost become part of the family. With his all-terrain wheelchair he can get very close to the cattle. “I used to be more into machines, but now you feel more drawn to the cows and calves because that's crazy. They are more interested in you than anything else. "
He was able to finance the all-terrain wheelchair with donations. The whole village had organized a charity tournament for him. This is not the only reason why he loves his home village Eckfeld, his family and friends. The Eckfeld bachelors also helped with the renovation of the apartment. “It's just great to know that the people are behind you. No matter who something like this would happen to, they would be helped just as much as me. "
It's hard to believe when Maxi assures you that your life will go on just as well as it did before the accident. “You should try to do what works. Maxi macht Mut! Ein toller junger Mann. Obwohl dies ein Bericht um seine Behinderung ist, wird diese durch Maxis positive Ausstrahlung fast zur Nebensache. Indem er sein Schicksal annimmt, macht er das Beste aus seinem veränderten Leben.
Alle Achtung !!! Verlier nie , was du hast und bist = ein Kämpfer und Gewinner, ein Mutmacher !

Ich war ein paarmal da, habe 11 Jahre in der Nähe gelebt und euer Scheunencafe war immer einen Besuch wert !

Super Typ der Maxi. Hatten viel Spaß im Krankenhaus 😄😄😄
Großen Respekt für die Zuversicht und seinen Lebenswillen. Ich bin selbst auch auf den Rollstuhl angewiesen, allerdings etwas Gefähig. Wie er beschrieben hat, sehen die Leute nicht, daß man oft Blase und Darm nicht mehr kontrollieren kann. Freunde und die Unterstützung im Alltag sind sehr wichtig. Leider sind gerade Hilfsmittel wie das Handbike oder dem Gelände Rollstuhl etwas, wo sich die Kassen zur Kostenübernahme verweigern, echt traurig.
Kannst du beim Amt für soziale Dienste beantragen, die GKV ist dafür nicht zuständig.

Ich liebe den Maxi & ich liebe die Landesschau RLP (obwohl ich in NRW wohne, aber an der Grenze).
Er ist eine Inspiration, nicht immer über jede Kleinigkeit zu jammern, sondern sich zusammenzureißen! ... und er hat ein tolles Lächeln 🙈😍

Sehr coole Rollstuhlausstattung. War ebenfalls mit softwheels unterwegs. Nun habe ich die neue Version der loopwheels, da Staub die softwheels zerstört. Die neuen haben nur drei gebogene Carbon Federn. Das ist wirklich Klasse

Mit Blase und Darm kann ich nur zustimmen. Habe dadurch an manchen Tagen extreme Spastik und heftige neuropathische Schmerzen (Nervenschmerzen) Da gibt es Tage wo man nix großartig machen kann außer liegen
